This is my Favorite Palm Springs/desert Air BnB. The decor and architecture are phenomenal, and it is in an area called "The Beverly Hills of Palm Springs." The whole property has a classic midcentury design, so you have a fully immersive Palm Springs Frank Sinatra experience. Everything is clean and well-designed. The pool was our highlight; it did not need to be heated because it was 115 outside at its highest that week. The perfect backyard for entertaining with many amenities: fire pits, ice machine (outside!), Bar, and pool boy button. It was a delight. The views in this building were immaculate, with floor-to-glass windows. I went with the children, and it was perfect—three good-sized bathrooms with patios (!) and outdoor showers. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, with no nosy neighbors (essential when traveling while Black). I have one qualm that wouldn't deter me from coming back: the beds are hard, so hard. But they are ALL king-size and clean. Would book again.

This is a beautifully put together home with every amenity you can want. Everything is comfortable and clean and well organized. We loved everything about it. The only thing to note is that there is no outdoor music, which is a city law, so it's really a spot for quiet adult times. We read and sunned and relaxed. It was awesome!

This was our Christmas gift to our son, daughter in-law and perfectly perfect new 3 month old granddaughter. Of course the caveat, mom, dad and little old man Chunky Monkey were along for the ride. The booking experience was excellent. Laura was most helpful via both email and phone. We arranged for an early check in, pool heat along with the addition of our four legged 13 year old Chunky with ease. The only thing Laura couldn't provide was a guarantee of no rain (think So Cal Atmospheric River storms). The rain came but we were in paradise so no biggie! The pictures accurately depict this incredible home. It is absolutely beautiful inside and and outside. Everything you could possible need is stocked in the home. Clean, extremely comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The attention to every little detail was wonderful. Upon arriving for our early check in, we noticed the pool was chilly. I immediately texted Acme and within 5 minutes Simon responded and said he would check the temperature and get back to me with info. Well, not even half hour later Simon replied and agreed the temp was not what it should be and explained how the heating works ect. Since we had an early check in we decided to go to lunch and stock up the fridge. Upon our return the pool was definitely warmer and we enjoyed the afternoon in the amazing yard. Yesterday, nearly a month after our stay Simon texted to ask if we left an Air Tag at the property thinking it was our dogs tag. I...

Pictures don’t do this place justice. This was the cleanest, nicest AIRBNB we’ve stayed at in Palm Springs. There was no clutter. All the amenities you can dream of, so many cool fire pits, a lemon tree and a hammock. What a dream. The ambiance was so light and positive. Definitely coming back!

Birthday Trip to the desert was amazing! This house was beautiful from the inside to the outside. Every detail well done. The house was stocked with everything you could need. We had a chef one night, and he said it was the best sticker Airbnb kitchen he’s used. The binder full of instructions were clear, and made everything easy to understand and find. The pool and hot spa felt amazing. Spa is huge. The outdoor shower and bathtub were a big hit. Super private house. Perfect girls trip or couples trips. Communication with host was top tier. Day of check out, needed a little longer to leave and ACME responded favorably. I cannot wait to come back.

Great weekend! The house was very well stocked and instructions were clear and easily accessible. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Lots of outdoor places to sit, hang out, eat or lay in the sun. Three outdoor showers and a bathtub took it to the next level. Acme was very proactive with texts and emails. They even referred a mobile massage company that was wonderful. All of us that stayed there are planning to return!!

Very nice place for smaller group or family. Clean and located on a quiet residential street. As a commercial rental, doesn't feel homey, which may or may not be a plus, depending on your point of view. We enjoyed the short bocce court and spa

West Elm House was a perfect place for us to be together as a family for Christmas! There were 5 of us; there was plenty of room for everyone to be together in one place comfortably and also many different areas inside and out for people to 'get away'. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted - which was important to us - since we would be eating 2 different holiday meals there. It was perfect!

A Palm Springs dream home. I’m so sad we had to check out! So well designed, decorated, and equipped. Everything you could need is at this house. The yard is ideal — so many nooks to enjoy you never really have to leave. Pool, putting green, sun loungers, covered living areas, dining table, fire pits…so much! And nice location, surrounded by other well maintained mid-century modern homes. We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful West Elm home with nice design touches. A perfect place for a girls’ weekend. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with great appliances and even a vitamix. Outdoor spaces were the highlight from the pool with sunning shelf and attached hot tub to the bocce ball court to the different lounging and dining areas. And the Acme team was wonderful in their quick responses to any questions we had. We highly recommend this place!

Our family of four spent a wonderful five days and nights at the West Elm House: Alexander. It was like having our own resort. The pictures of the house were great and had our hopes up, but arriving in person it was even better that we expected. Inside and out. The house was great. Also, ACME, the property manager, was great. There was an item missing in the kitchen which they had delivered within a few hours. They checked in repeatedly too to see if we needed everything. We would definitely go back and would definitely recommend the West Elm House: Alexander.

Overall Comment Upon arrival the house was spotless, the air conditioner had been turned on(the house was a cool 74°) the house was well-equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect, wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The management company provided excellent service. When we arrived I had noticed a little debris in the swimming pool from the night before, I made one phone call and left a message, they had a pool cleaning service out to clean the pool by the end of the day. They cleaned the pool on the daily basis. Our activities consisted of, lying in the pool, eating, playing Rummy cube and just having a wonderful time. The neighborhood was very quiet and that was very appreciated. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to relax and have a great time.

We had the best stay at the West Elm house! The home is absolutely beautiful and super clean. Beds are very comfy and the backyard is perfection! We loved how the pool had a nice shallow pad which was perfect for our kids, age 2 and 5. The pool area is shaded around 3pm, which was nice, even though it was only in the mid 80s during our stay. The flowering plants near the pool smelled wonderful which was a nice surprise. It was all just so dreamy and wonderful that my husband and I decided we would most definitely want to stay here again in the fall. We didn’t want to leave!

In the current pandemic environment, we set a goal of finding a house that, once we arrived, we wouldn't want to leave. The backyard (pool, putting green, bacci court, hammock and numerous seating/hangout areas) and overall layout of the home with separate patio areas for each bedroom exceeded this requirement. It was close to grocery stores and the downtown area for our quick runs out for take out and food supplies. We will definitely be back to this home whenever our travels take us back to Palm Springs.

Great home that was well equipped and well stocked by Acme. If you like west elm’s style, you should enjoy this house as it’s been designed by them and includes many of their furnishings. House has a good layout, with comfy beds and good patio space for all. The kitchen and living area aren’t large but have everything you need. Outdoor spaces were great and the generous size of the pool and hot tub were really nice. Would only recommend confirming pool temp prior to arrival as it was cold when we checked in and needed time to warm up. Overall a nice property and easy booking process - highly recommended!

I am so thankful for Renee!!! I nominate her for employee of the year!!! Grateful that orders were lifted in time for our stay! So many challenges but just as many blessings this year! Much needed family time and also celebrated my grandson’s birthday! Loved the enclosed front courtyard, so spacious. The floor to ceiling windows gave us perfect views of the surrounding mountains. Experienced night swimming when the temperature cooled down. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The FAVORITE feature was the outdoor showers for each room!!! Our first time visiting Palm Springs & booking a stay through ACME and certainly not the last. LOVE LOVE LOVE the decor!!!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at the West Elm: Alexander House. Everything was spotless upon arrival. The property is located in a quiet residential street with minimal noise from neighbors. The yard is designed to get maximum morning and afternoon shade, meaning we could enjoy the yard in the middle of summer with adequate shade. From 3pm the pool is almost entirely shaded which made a big difference for the kids, especially in the peak of summer. The tanning shelf (shallow end) is large enough for younger kids to enjoy and the water feature was very popular. Note that the desert can be drying to kid's skin so bring plenty of moisturizer. Inside, the house has everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Upon arrival, there were four chilled margarita glasses in the freezer - a great touch. The outdoor ice machine was a huge hit for both adults and kids. We used the big outdoor dining table outside on the cooler evenings. If there was one thing we would add to the kitchen it would be an ice cream scoop :-) We had only a few minor issues during our stay, ie. the WiFi played up when we arrived but Acme were quick to remedy this for us. Ditto for some smaller issues such as running out of dish liquid. A bottle was promptly left at our front door. Overall, highly recommend this property and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Overall Comment We recently stayed at the West Elm House for a family vacation. Upon arrival, we immediately fell in the love with the house. It was beautifully decorated, wonderful amenities (keurig and water in each room) that went above and beyond, and a great location to downtown. The backyard was amazing with places for kids to play, adults to relax, and the pool and spa were top notch! The Acme House Company also did a great job in providing help needed with a concierge meeting you upon arrival to make sure you felt comfortable with the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall Comment We stayed at The Alexander this last weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday with 5 girlfriends. All I wanted was a worry-free, relaxing and fun weekend away that only consisted of friends, good food, pool time and cocktails. This was a perfect place for that...such a great home and so many awesome areas to hang out that we didn't want to leave. You really need to stay for a week to take full advantage of all that this house has to offer. We were beyond thrilled with every aspect, from our first communications with Camille at Acme to the Concierge service and then everything the home had to offer. I obsessed over looking at 100's of houses and we were all SO happy that we chose The Alexander. We will definitely come back to his home and will definitely use Acme again! Thank you for a fantastic weekend!!!

Our only complaint and I hate to call it that really was with the WiFi - it's set up more like a hotel where you must enter an email or link to social media to access it and for us a) did not connect most of the time and b) given the upscale nature of the rental was a bit frustrating not to have a private connection. Overall, this is a wonderful home and we would stay again if in Palm Springs.

Overall Comment This home is a wow in every way. Everything I could think of or want was provided for in this house. This home is even more spectacular in person than the photos suggest. It was extremely clean, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, well maintained and cared for. Overall Comment We couldn’t have been more pleased with renting this home and the service from Acme House Co.! Every inch of this home was exactly as pictured if not better. The design and decor are stunning. The outdoor spaces were so inviting and relaxing and the pool was fantastic! We spent the majority of our vacation outside in this backyard oasis! My only suggestion would be to have the dining table (or at least a second dining table) out back rather then in the front courtyard. We never used the table in the courtyard due to the sun and wind and it didn’t feel as private, not to mention the distance from the BBQ was a little impractical. Acme House Co. was fantastic! They were so easy to work with and responded immediately to any issues. They had every detail of our stay covered and even had a small gift waiting for us on our arrival! Thank you for making this a truly wonderful vacation!

I had heard of the West Elm house through Modernism Week, and really wanted to stay here. The best part was the outdoor living spaces - we used every bit of it (backyard, front yard, guest room patios, outdoor shower/bath). ACME House Co. is by far the best property manager in Palm Springs. Your level of service, along with your selection of homes, is outstanding. The best part was the outstanding pool, where we spent most of our waking hours. Had it not been 110 in the shade we might have made better use of the fun outdoor games, and sports offered on the property. Being 3 minutes from the airport was nice. One small. but meaningful improvement could be made by beefing up the internet link to the livingroom TV. An excellent overall experience!

We heard from so many others how great this place is. Weren't sure we should believe all the hype. So we had to try it ourselves. And we found out --- The West Elm House is amazing. The entire yard was like a playground for big kids! The pool was just amazing with disco lights, jets and lots of bubbles! The mountain views were stunning. So many different places on property to enjoy cocktails. And all of the furniture - especially the beds - we soooooo comfortable. Wow. Wow. Wow. Worth every penny.

The space and home are terrific! The architecture of the home, paired with the furnishings from West Elm, make for a perfect marriage of Mid Century Modern. Quiet street, but conveniently located to downtown. Highly recommended for a getaway to Palm Springs

There is so much to love. The pool, master shower, and private courtyards off of every bedroom makes me wish that this was my house. The open floor plan truly brings the outdoors inside. We love it!

We were absolutely blown away by how gorgeous and comfortable this house was! Walls of glass that gave us stunning views from inside and outside the house. We have always been fans of midcentury architecture and the 1950s homes built by the Alexander Construction Company - but this remodel took it to the next level. Really shows how you can respect the original architecture while creating a very NOW space. The decor by West Elm was beautiful, super comfortable and the perfect compliment to the mid mod style of this house.

We were among the first lucky guests to stay at this concept home before it debuts on the Palm Springs Modernism Week Tour. It was like a dream and worth every penny. The entire property has been furnished by West Elm in their signature Boho Chic style. It was like living in one of their hip showrooms. So yes the inside was amazing. But the back yard was beyond description. Disco lights in the pool. Huge spa and a tanning deck with nifty air jets that doubled as a safe play space for the little ones. We hung out by one of the 4 different fire features each evening. We have already booked our return trip and can't wait to go back this summer. Thank you Acme House Company and West Elm for creating the perfect Palm Springs Getaway!
