The Acme difference
Booking direct means the price you see is the price we set, with no third-party service fee added on top. When you call, a person in our Palm Springs office answers the phone. Our reservations team works out of the same building as our housekeepers and maintenance crew, so the person you talk to can answer real questions about the home you are considering.
Because we manage every home ourselves, the home you saw is the home you get: the same furniture, the same pool, the same view, checked before you arrive. We have booked stays this way since 2008, from North Palm Canyon Drive.

Our stay in Adobe Barona was so peaceful. The home is surrounded by a beautiful mountain view with gorgeous sunset skies. The gated driveway is great for security and the outdoor automatic roller shades were a nice touch for privacy. The pool was great to cool down in and the spa helped us unwind and relax. We also enjoyed laying down in the outdoor bed. We were able to walk a short way down the street and watch the 4th of July fireworks that were being displayed in the nearby park. Overall an amazing weekend getaway!
I highly recommend Glass & Steel House. The location was a great balance between privacy, peace, and being in walking distance to the main drag. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality dishes, pans, utensils, and coffee maker. The pool was fantastic (yay for heated pool, even in the warm months), and overall the property was immaculately clean. We loved being able to give my parents the separate primary suite.
We had a wonderful stay at this home in Palm Desert. The listing is very accurate and reflects the property exactly as it is. The home was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and located in a great area. One of the highlights was how close the house is to the community pool, which was beautiful and very well maintained. The neighbourhood itself is quiet, safe, and perfect for morning walks or runs. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay in Palm Desert.
The home was perfect for a getaway. Extremely spacious, we loved the backyard, and the privacy of the outdoor areas. The home had everything we needed, I was surprised how stocked the kitchen was with extra containers, blenders, etc. It made it super easy to make all the meals we planned. Hosts were super helpful, and responsive. I’ve already recommended this home to a friend. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Beautiful views all around, peaceful, kitchen is well equip, clean, loved the small details like the reading light next to the bed and heated lamp/light coming out of the shower. Appreciated the corn hole and games available. All the furniture was clean and comfortable. Appliances are updated. I came with my children and parents and everyone enjoyed!
We took a quick weekend trip from San Diego to explore Joshua Tree and do some hiking, and this place was the perfect getaway. The views from the house were absolutely amazing in every direction! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and making dinner on the grill in the evening. The house was also bigger than we expected, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was an awesome, peaceful place to unwind, and we had a fantastic stay.

Most homes have a 2-night minimum. Some homes and some high-demand weekends require longer stays; each home’s calendar shows exactly what applies to your dates.
Many of our homes welcome pets. Pet-friendly homes charge a per-home pet fee, and a few do not allow pets at all, so check the listing for the home you like or call us and we will point you to the right ones.
From June through September, daytime highs regularly top 100 degrees. That is also when nightly rates are lowest and the pool earns its keep: mornings and evenings outside, midday in the water or the air conditioning. If you want the desert at its calmest and its best value, summer is it.
