Sunny Palms at Warm Sands - Walk To Palm Canyon Drive!

The house itself is awesome. Great location and the place is very nice. Pool / Spa is great though they do not pre-heat the Spa. We got in at 10pm and wanted to jump in but it takes ~1:30 to warm up so that was a bummer. There was a strange noise in the house that happened about every 3-5 mins. Sounded like a light rail going by but it was in the house. It wasn't so loud but I definitely heard it as I was trying to sleep. There is a gate but I did not receive a gate code. I called the emergency line and they gave me the wrong code. When we finally got that sorted we found out that the lock to the house itself was not correct. Had to call them again and they must have reset it remotely. The communication is very annoying. This company makes you give them their number and they use that to text you offers and seemingly nonstop spam. Two days after the trip and they are still texting me. Overall I am giving it 4 stars but it is really like a 3.5 due to check-in and texting.

4 of us, (1 couple and 2 singles) rented this house during Pride and it was perfect. We were able to walk to Arenas and Palm Canyon Drive, it’s so close to Townie Bagels and the Tahquitz creek trail. Lots of outdoor seating areas, and indoor as well. Very well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The dryer wasn’t working and when I called someone answered right away and a repair person was over in less than 20 minutes and the dryer was fixed. I will definitely rent with Acme again.

We had a lovely stay at this listing! The photos very accurately reflect the quality of the listing. The home is beautifully decorate and exceedingly comfortable - outfitted with nearly every amenity possible. Not to mention a gorgeous pool area to relax and enjoy the sun. Additionally, the location can't be beat. It is far enough from downtown to feel quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to almost everything within 15 minutes.

We arranged five nights at Sunny Palms at Warm Sands and we were not disappointed. The inside is updated, refined and comfortable with a touch of mid-century charm. The three king beds were super firm, which turned out to be great for us but may not appeal to everyone. The kitchen had every utensil and essential appliance we could have possibly needed. There was even a box filled with doggy items for our dog. The exterior had a beautiful pool and spa that we enjoyed immensely. Those were the two features I wanted the most. The bbq worked great and the outdoor seating areas and tables were clean and comfortable. Even though the outside temperature rose to 110 degrees the air conditioner and ceiling fans kept it cool enough inside. I was expecting (or at least hoping for) a fully private backyard. I’d say it was 80% private. The 20% that wasn’t fully private would have required a little effort from anyone who wanted to see in so it wasn’t a big issue. I was also hoping for a 100% dog-friendly yard but the walls in the front of the property were low enough that my dog could have easily jumped over them. But no big deal - we just always kept her on a leash. We did see a coyote roaming the streets one night so being extra cautious with our furry friends is important. Finally, the couple of tiny questions we had were met with responsive and courteous text messages from the good people at Acme. I recommend this house and I recommend Acme.

I brought my wife to Palm Springs for her birthday with another couple. This house was perfect for our trip. The views were incredible and it was extremely accessible to town for dinner, shopping, hiking, etc.

Comfortable temperatures and soft music wafting as we came in doors. Immaculate clean and well maintained property. Kitchen equipped with high end appliances and was fully stocked with all we needed for our 3 day stay. Even found a complimentary “Sisters Blend” coffee from La Jefa coffee shop. Very delicious, had to stop at coffee shop to bring some grounds home. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. Location, location, location. It’s walking distance to antique, gift shops and restaurants. Loved it. We plan on booking this property in a few months again.

My family enjoyed our stay in Palm Springs. The house was nice and comfortable. Outside the house was also wonderful. The fire pit was great to hang around at the end of the day. The pool was good and lot was very private.

This house is amazing! The location is perfect and so private. It is so close to downtown and to everything we wanted to see and do. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with everything we could have ever needed and more. Comfortable beds and the master shower is so luxurious. We loved the pool and yard and spent most of our time there. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the spa was never got really warm even after we decided to pay extra for the heat. The heat did help to warm the pool up to a perfect temperature though. Adding on the heat is highly recommended, we did not realize how cool the desert can be this time of year after the sun goes down. We also were so happy that the house is pet friendly as we love taking the fur babies on vacation with us.

House and bedding was clean. Pool and hot tub were nice as well. Hot tub wasn’t heating one of the days during our stay and the company was quick to respond and fix it. Would be nice to have seen an aerial view of the property to see pool placement to outside.

Such a lovely home! The pool and hot tub were amazing! Truly the highlight. The pool feels like a resort-style pool - very large and long. Great for hosting if you have other family visiting. We had a great time hot tubbing and swimming. Super clean and comfy. Great communication too. As other reviews mention the only thing to be aware of is the front yard walls are a little low (still private) but if you have dogs they’ll just need to be supervised while outside.

Pros: Truly excellent service and communication from property management. House was immaculate and well-furnished, with a variety of different spaces. Really easy check in & out (unlike some other short term rentals, you don't have to spend your whole last day cleaning). The pool and hot tub are wonderful, with plenty of lounge furniture. Cons: Two of the 3 beds were a bit too firm for some of our guests. Being close to the airport means you can hear some airport noise at night. Nothing that would prevent sleep, but it is noticeable.

We loved all the amenities this Vrbo was equipped with. The pool was perfect, cleaned regularly, and had the best foam lounger floats. We used this daily and they had two of them. The fire pit was also very nice at night. Although we didn’t use the hot tub, it’s a nice feature. We also didn’t use the BBQ, but it looked easy and was also another plus to have. They also had a toaster, toaster oven, two coffee makers and all full appliances. Pool towels were provided, the house was clean, and we could walk to the neighborhood bagel place called Townies. We appreciate your assistance ACME.

Couldn’t have been happier with this home and location for our family of six. Even better than pictured - incredible outdoor living with pool, hot tub, fire pit and so many seating/eating areas. We lived outside and loved it. Walkable to amazing bagel/bakery shop and to Starbucks (big hits with kids). Slightly longer walk to restaurants but very do-able. Also easy fast access to outstanding hiking. Quick drive to Target and Trader Joe’s. Could not have been happier with the entire experience. Thank you!

We had a plumbing issue halfway through our stay. The management team was extremely courteous and prompt in addressing the matter. They even sent housekeeping the following morning to tidy up the bathrooms because of the plumbing back up into the bathtub and shower. Even though we had the plumbing issue, the response of the management team still made our trip worthy of five star rating. Location was wonderful, the pool and spa were wonderful, and the time with friends of 37+ years was priceless.

There is both glass and plastic for sitting poolside. The house is also pet friendly which was a life saver for my family as we needed a rental as our house in LA was being fumigated at the time and we and our pets needed a place to stay! The house is comfortable, modern, and an easy walk to downtown (once the sun starts to set). Acme were amazing to work with. They were quick to respond before and during our stay. I will definitely rent this house in the future and from only Acme when staying in Palm Springs. They were really fantastic. Thanks for making being displaced from our home, such a pleasure!

This was the perfect place for our small family get away. Everything was easy to follow, extremely clean, and a lot of fun for all. The house was extremely close to downtown for short trips out and perfect for us as we spent most of our time in the pool with the kids. Recommend for all parties looking for a great location.

Overall Comment The first thing my husband said when we arrived was that he had never seen so much outdoor furniture--there are multiple areas where you can lounge outdoors. Fabulous house and location. Decor is Palm Springs chic. You are a short walk to Townie (get the French Toast bagel with maple syrup cream cheese) and couple minutes drive to the Main Street. We also went to Joshua Tree (~45 mins) for a day trip and The Living desert and Palm Desert (~30 mins) from here. House was impeccably cleaned. We were there for a week and there was an additional pool and yard service included. My family LOVED the pool with some fun water features and cool lights at night. There are previous comments about privacy but we didn’t find this to be an issue at all. There are gates and substantial shrubbery. We also enjoyed the BBQ and outdoor fire pit. It was a great getaway to relax and recharge.

We had a wonderful time here! The outdoor pool (by day) and fire pit (by night) were amazing to gather in and around to relax and enjoy each other's company. The place was very clean and well stocked. The few things that would have been helpful would be a couple of floaties for the pool and some basic spices but we made do without. It's in a great location, so close to downtown and great shops and restaurants. When we had questions about the hot tub, the property manager was very responsive and someone was out to look at it within the hour. The concierge service was also very helpful and booked us a few in-house massages! We would definitely come again.

This was an exceptional property really close to all the great shopping and restaurants in Palm Springs! The pool was sparkling clean and great fun for a family of adults. We really appreciated the large backyard with multiple areas to lounge with our two dogs - and we made use of the great bbq set up for our meals. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the small appliances you could need. Every room was very clean and the king beds in every bedroom really added to the luxuriousness of the home. I had read about the privacy concern on a previous review and messaged the property manager in advance of the trip. They were very upfront about the concern so we came fully prepared. The front side of the house does have a short wall with some shrubs growing in. The property was so amazing in every aspect that we didn’t feel this was a deal breaker. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Walking distance to downtown shops and local hiking trails. I had 2 minor issues at home and acme's service team was quick to resolve both issues.

This is a beautiful and comfortable house in a great location. The views are gorgeous. There is a river walk close by and it is an easy stroll to town. The bathrooms are nicely updated, if a bit on the small side. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and there is a very nice outdoor grill. The 10AM check-out time was a little early for us.

Great stylist place; great location. Keep in mind that the pool, hot tub and fire place are in the front and side yard facing a semi-busy street corner. Other than that privacy issue everything was great including the steam shower in the master ???????
