Welcome to Stargazer — a stylish, spacious, art-filled vacation rental in the heart of Palm Springs. The sunlit living room benefits from a flatscreen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows that make a feature of the blue skies and palm trees beyond. Along the corridor is where you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area that comfortably seats six. A games room with a ping pong table and board games completes the sociable indoor setup. The property’s attractive modern finishes and pops of color continue into the three well-proportioned bedrooms. The primary guest room boasts a private en suite, while the additional two guestrooms share a spacious second bathroom. All three rooms benefit from sliding doors leading directly to the private resort-style backyard with a pool, outdoor dining areas, and spectacular mountain views. Stargazer is perfectly positioned to enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer. Make the most of the year-round warm temperatures with nature hikes in the surrounding mountains, and discover the many shopping, dining and entertainment options on the property’s doorstep.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
The outdoor space is the jewel in the crown of this quintessentially Californian vacation home. Fenced in and surrounded by trees, this space is completely private and for the sole use of guests. Cool off under the hot sun in the pool, or seek out a shady spot and relax on a comfortable lounger.

As the sun sets over the surrounding mountains, fire up the grill for an al fresco dinner in the outdoor dining area. Then, gather around the firepit and enjoy an evening spent under the stars.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Open-plan living meets mid-century styling to create a comfortable indoor space with socializing at its heart.

The chic living room features ample seating for six, plus a flatscreen TV and neighborhood views to the front of the property. Head to the kitchen and you’ll find a well-stocked, open-plan kitchen with classic wood-fronted cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There’s seating for two at the breakfast bar for snacks and light bites, plus space for six at the dining table for long lunches and lavish dinners.

The games room can be accessed from the dining area and backyard, and features a ping pong table plus plenty of board games. Two swing chairs make the perfect spot for curling up with a coffee or a great book.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. *

SLEEPING QUARTERS
The primary suite is finished with yellow accents and has a sumptuous king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and direct access to the pool area. The attached ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet, plus plenty of storage.

The second guest bedroom also has a sumptuous king-size bed and sliding doors to the backyard. This space has been thoughtfully finished with mid-century furnishings and stylish accents. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed and continues the vibrant yellow color scheme. This guest room also has direct access to the pool.

The second and third bedrooms share access to the property’s main bathroom. Finished with contemporary green tiling, it features a shower over the tub, plus a toilet and a vanity with storage.

THE LOCATION
The Stargazer property is located conveniently close to Palm Springs International Airport and is the perfect jumping-off point for enjoying all that the city has to offer. Palm Canyon Drive is a short drive away and is where you’ll find dozens of dining options as well as some of the best shops, boutiques, galleries, and cabarets.

Nature lovers will appreciate that Joshua Tree National Park is within driving distance of the property. Many of the most beautiful hiking trails in Palm Springs are also easily accessible, and some offer year-round waterfalls that are ideal for cooling off in the warmer months. There are several great golf courses nearby, too.

Truly a stunning MCM, decorated perfectly. It's spacious, private, and spotlessly clean. The amenities were perfect and the house was so thoughtfully prepared and well equipped. ACME was also very quick to respond and always so polite. We booked the house for my child's one year old birthday so our bi-coastal family could fly in and celebrate together. It could not have been better! We were truly blown away by the house and had an incredible time. Even my dog loved the private backyard for sunbathing!

We recently stayed at The Stargazer and it was perfect! We’ve stayed at other homes before through other rental companies and this is our first time with an ACME rental and we will for sure use them again. The house was immaculate and they even had a welcome box for our dogs! The pool was pristine and the trees provided natural shade. The decor was also super cute and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The checkout process was also a breeze! We’ve been coming out to Palm Springs every summer for the last 5 years and this is the first rental that didn’t have us load towels & sheets upon checkout. The communication was also very easy. Our stay was excellent

Our stay at the stargazer property was excellent. Clean and spacious house with two large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Nice kitchen that opens to a dining area and connects to a living room with a good entertainment setup. Bonus for the extra room with ping pong table - great for families. Nice outdoor setup with various areas to sit, firepit, and a nice clean gas grill. Access to the garage to keep our car cool was a bonus given the heat of Palm Springs. Only drawbacks: the neighborhood provides easy access to downtown PS and the airport, but was quite windy while we visited. Not sure if thats typical of the time of year, location, or both, but I had never experienced such wind during my stays in PS. We also had an issue with the door code on one occasion, where we were locked out of the house momentarily. Acme was generally responsive and helpful, but this was a pain at the time. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend this place to a friend.

OK... this place is fantastic. I felt like I had stepped into a Mid-Mod SoCal postcard. Impeccably decorated, presciently well appointed! and thoroughly comfortable... It's a perfect spot for family getaway or gin and tonics by the pool with your pals. It seems as if the host thought of everything you might want or need - in a weekend retreat or more luxuriant repose. Plus, only a 5min drive to DTPalmSprings. Cant recommend highly enough! Pro-tip... request the Heated Pool supplement if you want to take a swim under the stars.

Mid-Century Dream

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Stargazer. We stayed here with another couple and absolutely loved how spacious and comfortable this house is. The living room is perfectly setup for hanging out and talking with friends. The furniture is all incredibly stylish, yet super comfy. In fact, when I first saw the hanging chairs in the ping-pong table room, I thought, those look cool, but I bet they're uncomfortable. Man was I wrong! That ended up being one of my favorite places to sit and read! The backyard is incredible with a grill, fire pit, pool and tons of comfy lounge chairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The two larger bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, so there's ample privacy for everyone AND the beds are sooooo comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood is great for a sunset stroll while drooling over all the beautifully designed homes in the area. It was the perfect location for a grownups getaway -- but now we're thinking we'd like go back with our kid because it's ideal for families too. Can't wait!

Best Relaxing Home in PS

Oh, what a wonderful stay in this gem of a home- with a nice, big pool and surrounding outdoor area, there's a view of the Mt. range that makes you really feel you're in another world. Just a gorgeous outdoor space to hang out in. Beds are comfy, kitchen/dining area is perfect for cooking at home (which we like to do when we go on vacation-believe it or not!). The 'game room' is so cool, a great place to hang out when you've had your fill of the sun by the pool. We will definitely stay here every time we visit P.S. Thank you so much!

The Stargazer is a beautifully furnished California Modern home backdropped in the mountains of Palm Springs. Set in a super-quiet neighborhood close to all the things you need with a beautiful pool and comfortable backyard, the Stargazer is THE spot to spend your vacation days year-round.
