OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property captures the magic of Southern California glamour. The sprawling yard is walled for privacy and features absolutely gorgeous mountain views. The pool and spa are at the center of the yard - surrounded by lounge chairs, a fire pit lounge, a covered outdoor living pavilion with an entertaining cantina bar area, a built-in BBQ, ping pong, and bocce ball. It's a great place for living the good life!

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
This remodeled property features Spanish-inspired architecture and décor and Saltillo tile floors throughout. The free flowing floor plan provides plenty of space for your entire group to spend time together or step away for some alone time. Glass doors and windows let the light pour in - blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living.

The country kitchen features a breakfast nook and flows into the indoor-outdoor cantina bar. The dining area accommodates up to 8 guests and features doors of glass that open up to reveal the sun-drenched backyard. The living room features a fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and opens up to a private courtyard.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each of the three bedrooms features a hotel-quality King sized mattress and ample storage. The Master Suite has a King bed, a flatscreen TV and direct access to the front courtyard. The en suite bath has a tub, a separate shower, and a double sink. The second guest room has a King bed, a flatscreen TV, direct access to the backyard, and an en suite bathroom with direct access to the BBQ area. The third guest room has a King bed, a flatscreen TV, direct access to the backyard, and direct access to the third bathroom.

THE LOCATION
Great location in the very popular Movie Colony East - less than a mile from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive as it cuts through the Uptown Design District. An easy walk to Ruth Hardy Park - a 22 acre park with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Dont miss the Sunday morning yoga sessions in the Park. Casual eateries, fine dining, coffee spots, art galleries and specialty boutiques are all within walking distance. The Convention Center and Casino are also very close by. You'll be just minutes from movie theaters, museums, and live performance venues. This is the ideal location for those who want to be close to everything but just a little bit removed for peace and quiet.

The Movie Colony is a tranquil walking neighborhood. Historically this part of town has been home to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars such as Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Bob Hope, Van Johnson, Tony Curtis, and Gloria Swanson. The Movie Colony has a great history. One of the celebrity estates in the Movie Colony was called the Desert Royal Palace because so many Europeans with royal titles and Hollywood elite lived there.

Beautiful home-spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom provided lots of privacy for each respective guest. Pool was great- we spent lots of time in the pool area. House was fully stocked with all the kitchen equipment you could need. The covered parking spot was welcome. Very quiet home despite being so close to downtown Palm Springs.

This was our first Airbnb so we weren't sure exactly what to expect. I couldn't have anticipated how amazing the property was. Check-in was easy, the house and grounds were BETTER than advertised, and it felt like we had arrived home. This was also our first trip with our dog Benji. When we arrived there was a gift for him which we thought was extremely sweet and a great touch. The back yard was huge! The pool was amazing. There was enough to keep us entertained at the house with movies, board games, table tennis and teather ball outside, and a park almost across the street. We didn't leave the property at all except to walk Benji in the morning. We LOVED our stay and didn't want to leave (especially Benji who got accustomed to his "kingdom" outside). The house is PERFECT for a quiet getaway, or to stay with a large family or lots of friends. Truly an amazing property and one we would absolutely book again given the opportunity.

A majority of our time was spent in the expansive outside areas. Several seating areas, many games to play, and of course the spa and pool. Would definitely stay here again and recommend others who may have a large family or multiple couples looking for a getaway.

Our stay was fabulous

Our stay was fabulous with the exception of a few details. The house was everything we expected and more. Our first night we experienced a problem outside on the patio that forced us inside rather than enjoy the night. We had huge cockroaches all over the patio. Thankfully they were not inside the house. We called in the morning and pest control was out in a timely manner, taking care of the problem so we could enjoy our patio in the evening. Our nights were bug free moving forward!! On saturday, the neighbors next door trimmed trees and bushes that was annoying hearing chainsaws for a few hours. Thankfully we were not home when they actually had to be in our yard to grab the debris. This problem we know was beyond our hosts control. Lastly, check out would be more helpful to enjoy our last day if we didn't have to be out by 10. Check out should be the earliest 3:00pm and having check in for people be earlier. i.e check in to the house at noon to enjoy the day and check out 3:00pm to enjoy the day. With the current check in and check out times we actually lost 1/2 day at the start and 1/2 in the end. My rating would actually be 4.5 stars. We will be back for sure.

My wife and I spent a month at this property which is just a few minutes walk to Ruth Hardy Park. It is an older home which is a little dark, but has quite a bit of character. The house sits on almost a half-acre lot and is very quiet and private. There were a few small problems as is typical of most of the vacation properties we have stayed at. Whenever I contacted Acme (management company), my calls were returned immediately, and the issue was resolved the same day … within hours. Their maintenance techs arrived in uniform and were polite and professional. At one point, when maintenance could not fix a problem with the shower, Acme had a plumber to the house that same Friday afternoon, and a repair was made in short order. The house was comfortable, kitchen well stocked with gadgets, knives, countertop appliances, range, etc. Pool was cleaned twice weekly, and we appreciated the use of a steam sauna, spa, and a very expensive outdoor grill. One of the best experiences we had was our dealings with Acme. We were very impressed with their desire to make our vacation/rental a positive experience. These folks get it … exceptional customer service and a can-do attitude seems to be common culture at the Acme House Company. J Anacortes, WA
