The fabulous resort-style yard is walled and gated for privacy. It features a saltwater pool and spa. Plenty of chaise lounges, a living pavilion, and a fabulous outdoor cooking station with a BBQ grill and bar. You'll also find a firepit lounge and plenty of yard games including bocce ball, cornhole and croquet! The mountain views from here are absolutely breathtaking. This property is quintessential Palm Springs magic - it's the type of place visitors return to year after year!

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property captures the fun and nostalgia of Palm Springs living! The very private backyard is spacious and well-planned - with lots of different gathering places. The heated saltwater pool is surrounded by a cooking station with a BBQ grill and bar, a covered living pavilion, and chaise lounges - plus a fabulous new spa! The firepit lounge is perfect for gathering around and enjoying the cool desert evenings. You'll even find bocce ball, cornhole and croquet! This property is a true vacation oasis.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

This glamorously nostalgic yet very current vacation home captures the swank and sophisticated vibe of Palm Springs yesteryear, while being very next century at the same time. Gorgeous in its simplicity - as Mr. Meiselman intended - you'll find clean lines, an open concept floor plan and spectacular walls of glass that let the light pour in blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living. Mid mod inspired furnishings and art reinterpret the iconic mid mod style without sacrificing comfort.

Everything has been reimagined for the way we live today - with high-speed internet, 4 flatscreen TVs, high performance climate control and a well stocked kitchen.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All 3 bedrooms have been beautifully styled like an exclusive boutique hotel and feature a hotel-quality mattress, a flatscreen TV, and ample storage. The Primary Suite has a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. Guest Room 1 features a Queen bed and direct access to the pool yard. Guest Room 2 also features a Queen bed. Both Guest Rooms share easy access to the full bathroom in the hall.

THE LOCATION
Centrally located near restaurants, shops, boutiques, galleries, the casino, convention center, cabarets and all the day and night life found on our World-Famous Palm Canyon Drive! Grocery stores, casual restaurants, coffee places and other neighborhood conveniences are all just steps from your front door. This is an ideal location for visitors who like to be in the center of it all - but just slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Downtown.

The house was perfect for our family… Six adults and one toddler. The Baja shelf on the pool was perfect for him to run around and play. The house is very well stocked and had everything we needed to make all of our meals. We used the BBQ a couple of times and ate at the outdoor bar…very convenient and fun. The decor is fun and stylish and, the house is very cozy. My only criticism is that the pool takes quite a while to heat up, so you should ask for that to be heated at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival.

This stylish MCM home was bright, clean and well appointed with kitchen appliances and big TVs. The three bedrooms were comfy and the bathrooms and showers were perfect for our large group. The pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen became the focal point for our social activities and the large, well-maintained backyard was a perfect spot for some games and activities. Location was very accessible to shops, restaurants and grocery. Turnkey vacation. Thanks for the sun and fun.

Stayed here last weekend for a family birthday gathering. We had a fantastic time. The Pink Door House has everything you want for a desert get-away: big heated pool, large hot tub, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, huge yard, and an outdoor bar by the pool. The inside is decorated with mid-century flair and features a comfortable living room with large scree TV. The location is super convenient and nothing is more than 5-10 minutes away. I would definitely return!

50th birthday getaway

Stayed here a week with my girlfriends for my 50th birthday getaway. We had everything we needed during our stay and it was close to everything. I loved the house and didn’t want to leave, as I’m a huge midcentury modern fan who loves colorful decor. The host was so thoughtful and even left me a giant birthday card and bottle of wine to enjoy with the girls. They were also very responsive when the hot tub jets weren’t working properly. One thing I’d recommend is that they update the outdoor furniture, as it’s a little worn from the desert heat/sun. Also, when we rinsed off the patio with the hose, the paint was washing away. It just needs to be removed and repainted. Overall, it was a memorable week and I highly recommend booking this Airbnb for your Palm Springs vacation.

Pink Door exceeded our expectations. The photos on the web site are great, but it is even more impressive in person. The house and property were clean and very functional. There was no detail overlooked - they had everything and more available for our use. The fun decorations and decor made our stay extra special - so many amazing photo opportunities. We loved the pink lights on the front of the house that turned on at night and the way the pool, spa and string lights at the bar lit up the backyard. There were a few things we needed help with and I was overly impressed how fast ACME responded to my requests and resolved the things we needed help with. This place was 10 out of 10.

We had a fantastic time at the PINK DOOR guest home. The rooms were better looking than the photos and it was very relaxing. It was very close to the restaurants in downtown Palm Springs which made it easy to decide to either stay at the home and cook or just get in the car and 10 minutes later you are at a great dining establishment. The host was very helpful with all the necessary information needed to make the stay easy and relaxing. We really enjoyed this home and would definitely looking into renting it again when we return to Palm Springs. We stayed 5 nights.

It is not allowed at all, not even during the day. I understand it's part of the rules, I just think that is a bit excessive. Nonetheless, we had a GREAT TIME!!!

Great style and fabulous amenities. So comforable and the athletics were funky and fun and so well done keeping with a mid cebtury vibe. The pool spa and outdoor games kept us completely entertained, relaxed and provied some good laughs. The home was spotlessly clean and all our needs were met for comfortability. Welcome to your dream home! Wow! Owners have thought of EVERYTHING. House is fully stocked. Drawers are labeled. Instructions are laminated. House is SPOTLESS. Each room is beyond comfortable- beds, linens, pillows are all top quality. Pool is clean and so comfortable. The yard is a dream! Real grass made for soccer and gymnastics, and all the other games that are stocked in the garage. Yoga mat, bath towels- everything you can imagine. Very organized, clean and easy home. We stayed at the Pink Door Guest House as we were getting married in Palm Springs that weekend. We had so much fun enjoying the house and the amenities! The pool/jacuzzi are amazing, the location is great as it's just a bit outside of the downtown area. We loved our stay. There were so many amazing details we appreciated! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, there's a lovely fireplace for cooler weather and 3 nice bedrooms designed beautifully! The back yard is wonderful too including the bar by the pool. Highly recommend staying here!

The Pink Door Guest House was the perfect spot for a quick getaway from LA! My friend and I (and our pup) had the opportunity to fully relax -- we felt completely taken care of and spoiled by the amenities of this sweet little house. We especially loved the: - gas fireplace in the living room for those chilly desert evenings - super comfortable beds - great kitchen amenities, like a reusable single-serve coffee maker and adorable electric tea kettle - clean and functioning hot tub and pool - HUGE backyard with a well-maintained lawn. (Fear not, dog-owners, this yard is secure and fully enclosed by shrubs and fence. Our "perimeter patrol" dog thoroughly checked the entire area.) Book your next Palm Springs stay with the Pink Door Guest House -- you will not be disappointed!

Wow wow wow! Can not begin to express how amazing this home is. Because it is just that. So many core memories were had here; and can guarantee we will be back! My husband and I opened the front door at the Pink Door Guest House and immediately fell in love with the decor, the airy light rooms and the spacious property! This place has everything!! A gorgeous pool, a hot tub with a spectacular mountain view and even a fire pit are there to be enjoyed. And we used them all. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen with lots of small appliances, and the laundry facilities too. Very cute rental property. We really enjoyed the outdoor bar next to the pool and the big lawn!! The shaded lounge area next to the pool was also really nice to have during peak sun times, and the firefit was fun to have at night. The house had a clean sleek look and all the kitchen supplies our wanna be Top Chefs needed. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It's a cute safe area. And, we weren't far from a grocery store and the main Palm Springs drag. Great quick weekend getaway and decently priced!

The house was extremely well appointed, with a great master suite and two great guest bedrooms that were all super comfy and well appointed. The pool was beautiful with a great jacuzzi and plenty of pool floats and chairs to enjoy the sun! The property is lovely with a great hammock in the yard and a fire pit to enjoy at night. The kitchen was well appointed with cookware and all the things you need to cook or BBQ and and have a great time with friends. Highly recommend this lovely and well managed home!

We absolutely loved this property! The house and grounds were very clean and had everything we needed. We practically lived in the pool, which is the perfect size for a family of four adults to swim and relax. The outdoor space has lots of comfy furniture, and the outdoor bar area was perfect for eating all of our meals. Arrival and departure were easy with the codes we were sent. The kitchen had a lot of nice amenities, especially the pink small appliances. We would definitely stay here again.

The thing to know about this rental is that it is very close to the airport and you can hear intermittent airplane noise. Generally, that was not very bothersome, except one day when the flight path changed and the noise increased exponentially. Otherwise, I found the noise from car traffic on the busy street that the home faces to be much more disruptive when attempting to sleep in the "master" bedroom than any airplane noise. If you are a light sleeper, you should take this into consideration or bring earplugs. Also, the "master" bedroom and bedroom facing the pool need blackout shades. The adorable string lights in the lounge area shone into the "master"
