Mostero House at Old Las Palmas - 4 Bedroom Suites! Walk to Town!

We had an amazing stay at the Monstera House - what an absolutely gorgeous property!! The location was prime - walking distance to town and a cute little coffee shop right at the end of the street. Taking walks around the neighborhood was so lovely. The house itself had a great amount of space - very spread out, large bedrooms/bathrooms and plenty of room to hang out inside & outside. The beds do have very firm mattresses - not an issue for us, just an FYI for future renters. The kitchen is stocked extremely well, as we were there for Thanksgiving and didn't lack any pot, pan, baking dish or utensil. Would absolutely recommend!!

Awesome time at the Mostero House! The location was within walking distance to everything Palm Springs has to offer yet the house was secluded and quiet. The house was a beautiful example of the mid-century modern design, and was surprisingly comfortable. Great pool and back-yard area. We'll definitely be back!

The main drawbacks are no hot tub, which was clear when renting the house. That’s said, a house of this price should have a hot tub. Second, it’s very expensive—probably too expensive. Okay if you have 4 couples but it’s pricier than a very nice hotel. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Acme's listing was really great. I've stayed in many Airbnbs throughout Palm Springs, and this was by far the nicest. The layout, decor, furnishings, proximity to downtown — everything was excellent. I wish there were a hot-tub, but we knew there wasn't when we booked. I'll definitely be looking to book this place again the next time I visit PS.

My friends and I had a dream weekend at Mostero House and would gladly book our next Palm Springs visit through the ACME House Company. The house itself was the best I've rented of all my many Palm Springs visits: it was stylish, recently renovated, unique, and well appointed. The kitchen was easily the best I've ever seen in Palm Springs and the beds especially were comfy and fresh. The pool set-up was perfect, though worth noting that there is no hot tub (ACME is upfront about that, but a lot of people assume there will be one). The ACME team is also very responsive: we had an issue with our TV on the Friday evening when we arrived and they had it fixed that same night. On top of all of that, the location couldn't be better: Palm Spring is BIG and it's really nice to be in walking distance of some of the shopping and coffee shops. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with a few friends for a quick weekend getaway and this place was perfect!! The mid-century design was fabulous. The house is very spacious and the rooms were generous in size. This house is at the top of my list of homes to stay in for a Palm Springs vacation. It’s also conveniently located close to the main strip of shops and restaurants.

This house was an amazing place to spend some time in Palm Springs! Recently renovated but in keeping with its mid-century modern roots, the house is very clean and open with lots of space. The kitchen was super well equipped, with multiple methods for making coffee and even a blender. The unique murals on the exterior walls really add to the cool vibe. It's only two blocks to the main street, which has lots of restaurants and things to do, so you can easily walk to a lot of places. The house is super interesting, and it was a lot of fun just looking at all the details. The highlight is definitely the pool! Make sure you leave time in your schedule at Palm Springs to just hang out and swim and relax by the pool! I will definitely stay here again when I visit Palm Springs!

My husband and several far-flung friends were thrilled to meet up for a long weekend at Mostero house. The impeccable decor, lighting, and every item imaginable in a glistening kitchen made our time there magical. Over breakfast or dips in the pool, we loved talking about the home's murals and architectural details. Palm Springs was an amazing leisure location. The art museum, self-guided architecture tours, and tram up to the mountains were all minutes away from this centrally located house. We can't wait to return to this luxurious vacation spot that utterly evokes the classic Palm Springs spirit!

Overall Comment Great house for a weeks holiday. It is walkable distance to the upper end of the main PS strip. This part of PS is really quiet with minimal traffic, friendly morning walkers, and a serene mountain outlook. This would be a good choice for two families or a family with some teenagers as there are inside two living zones and bedrooms are spread throughout. Easy, relaxed, spacious living.

Las Palmas is a lovely quiet neighborhood. This house was very easy with little kids. Vast spaces and not too many things to have to keep watching with them. It is a really easy walk to coffee and upper part of the main Palm Springs shopping zone. The steam shower was something I have wanted to try forever. Would happily return to this house.

This was our second stay at the Mostero House and we will never stay anywhere else! As soon as you step onto the property, it seems all the weights of the world lift. This is truly an oasis filled with wonder and peace in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in Palm Springs known as Old Las Palmas. Every detail of the interior and exterior has been meticulously designed with graceful functionality in mind, cultivating an atmosphere where you can unwind in style with your loved ones. The estate is within ideal proximity to the best restaurants and nightlife (if you actually ever want to leave!) The Mostero house is super cool with a great midcentury vibe and everything you need. The location can't be beat and Acme was very helpful. Had some trouble with the wifi but we read about that before we arrived. Other than that we had a great time.

Loved our stay at Mostero House. Whenever we go to Palm Springs we stay in this area (Las Palmas). The houses are amazing and this one was no exception. The house is spacious with bedrooms on opposite sides of the house (nice for a little privacy). The main living room was huge and beautifully decorated. The only think I would change is the seating in the TV-watching room. The couch, while nice to look at, was not particularly comfortable for watching movies. But that was a small detail and we had an amazing stay and appreciated the change of scenery during the pandemic.

Loved our stay at Mostero House. Whenever we go to Palm Springs we stay in this area (Las Palmas). The houses are amazing and this one was no exception. The house is spacious with bedrooms on opposite sides of the house (nice for a little privacy). The main living room was huge and beautifully decorated. Overall Comment This house was gorgeous and plenty spacious enough for two families each with two kids to spread out and have their own space. We loved the simplicity of bedroom furniture and comfort of having a great living room and separate family room for the kids. We only had two issues- the Wifi was super spotty and shutdown a couple times, which affected those who were trying to work and the ability to stream cartoons for the kids. The 2nd issue was even in 100 degree summer heat, the pool wasn't warmed and a little chilly for some of us. When I read about the house it made mention to the pool being heated but I didn't realize that was only during winter months and you had to request it be heated during summer (at an extra charge). The issues were minor enough and we still had an awesome stay.

My family and I took an impromptu trip to Palm Springs and we had an amazing time. The home is beautiful, fully appointed, lovely pool, and plenty of space for guests that includes several gathering places. We had a minor need on day 2 that was taken care of straight away. The listing was very attractive with nice photos etc. When we arrived we were able to appreciate what a wonderful property this is. Property on a corner which was quiet with sculpted desert plants. Beautiful pool area and interesting art on the walls and inside. The house has all the amenities with some pleasant extras, steam shower, Bluetooth speakers and 5 bathrooms and a bar area. Showers suffered from a bit of calcium build up, which needs regular cleaning.

We had an amazing time. This house was larger than it appeared on the website. There was the added bonus of a soaking room with a steam shower. The place was amazing. Everything in the home was high end from the silverware to the pool furniture. The only critique is the flying charcoal bugs that happen in the summer. There's nothing they can do about the bugs, but there should be bug zappers near the doorways and they may need to reseal the windows and doors to be sure they aren't getting in even when you aren't opening the doors. We felt like we couldn't go out to the pool at night because there were so many of them and they would get into the house. The bugs are harmless, but still. The house is beautiful and the view from the pool, which was pretty large, was magnificent. This house is also in a great location near the downtown area. We had a marvelous time and would go back again and again.

The place was beautiful and loved the outdoor area. Definitely a place for a really nice group of friends to hang out, swim, and grill. Very close to a coffee shop and tiki bar and other things super close with an Uber. Amenities like shampoo, body wash, extra linen and towels were provided which was super great! Additionally, when we had an issue around a toilet handle, they sent someone quickly to correct. Would recommend to others to check out!

Sounds cheesy, but truth is: the house is better than the pictures. The living room is very spacious (in fact, there are two living rooms), the kitchen and breakfast nook are both roomy, the front porch and small table are great for shady mornings, and the backyard was so green. Friends came from across the US- everyone was wowed by the space!

Great experience with the property manager and the property. Much of the home, including the kitchen, felt totally new, and we enjoyed the style of the furnishings and amenities. Our family loved the pool, it was clean, well-maintained, with plenty of places to relax. The landscaping is also beautiful and the murals/art on both the inside and outside really provide a nice aesthetic. The location was also enjoyable, down the street from a fun bar and good coffee shop and near the main attractions of PS.

I just hosted 6 friends at the Zio Ziegler house to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everyone arrived before we did and I got identical texts from each person saying The house is SICK. And it is. It may be the nicest house I've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are all large, have their own en suites, king beds, beautiful furniture and bedding. The one thing we all could not get over was how expensive and beautiful the furnishings are. We all have knowledge of mid century antiques and this house is filled with authentic mid century antiques in impeccable condition. It's truly a special space. The pool was awesome. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and on the BBQ. The location is great. There are amazing views of the mountains from the pool area. Acme was great to deal with from the get go. They're very fast at communicating and were accommodating. It was a very good experience renting from them.

This space was beautiful, spacious and peaceful. The House clearly has the capacity to host a lot of people, and it was a really pleasant place to hang out with a group of friends. The interior design is breathtakingly beautiful -- plenty of seating in quintessential mid-century decor. All the amenities were resort quality. We would definitely come back.

Great location, amazing home with great style. Kitchen cabinets drove me crazy though. Almost impossible to close the drawers. We loved being able to walk everywhere, go biking and walk to tennis at Ruth Hardy Park. Would definitely book again.

Location is amazing just a block from Bootlegger Tiki / Ernest Coffee. The house itself was beautifully furnished. The art murals throughout the property were stunning. 4 great sleeping quarters, huge open concept floor plan. Loved the lounge area and soaking tub. The pool yard was perfect and the mountain views were inspiring. This is the perfect place for a friends getaway.

I am an Adventure Writer who travels all over the world. This is one of the top 5 vacation rental stays I have ever had. We were a group of Social Influencers on a short stay but every moment was magical. What I liked most is that this is an atypical property. It is the perfect combination of Avant-garde sensibility and classic Palm Springs style. Midcentury meets Couture Home Design. Iconic 1950s architecture combined with contemporary industrial-inspired elements. The murals by Zio Ziegler were inspiring. The furnishings were stunning. The entire vibe was low key yet elegant. Probably not for everyone but certainly for me and the ladies I was with for these few wonderful days and nights.

My stay here was too short. Way too short. My job takes me all over the country to many different hotels, boutique inns and vacation rentals. When I found out my Palm Springs Girls Trip was placing us in a property that had never been rented before, my expectations were low. Upon pulling up to this property I was over the top impressed. Around every corner was another Wow Moment! The online pictures are beautiful but don't do it justice. The management company was solicitous without hovering. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was perfect - just a block or so to all the restaurants, shops and galleries. Thank you to the property owners for not pandering to the least common denominator by creating someplace very special.

The Zio Zigler house is very lovely--spacious and luxurious. It was not the house we actually reserved--they changed our house a week or two before we were scheduled to arrive which was stressful. However, we were very happy with our accommodations. We had a struggle getting in with the code they gave us, and had an alarm buzzing late at night on our first night there. They came out within a half an hour to deal with it, but it was still a bit annoying. The fixtures of the house were very nice and it is very close to restaurants, etc.

Fantastic stay in Palm Spring. The House was great, very comfortable, very clean, well equipped, and so extremely well furnished. I love the bed, very cozy! Could not ask for anything more, and I would definitively stay here again.
