Modern Ranch Heaven - Midcentury Ranch Home in Ruth Hardy Park!

We really enjoyed our stay at MRH. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog. The house was clean and had everything you needed. We loved the backyard, especially the pool and spa. The location is great. A short drive to downtown and a short walk to Ruth Hardy Park, which our dog loved. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house that was perfect for our family getaway. Close to everything, but also a great place to stay in. We loved adventuring during the day, and then spending all afternoon by the pool and grilling dinner at home. The backyard really made this a great stay.

We (2 couples) stayed at "Modern Ranch Heaven" for 4 nights. The residence is charming, comfortable, nicely furnished in keeping with its mid-century style, and immaculately clean. The outdoor space is rather spectacular in a comfortable and relaxing way. The information provided by Acme before and during our stay was thorough and very helpful. In addition, although there were no problems at all with the house, we did call Acme twice with questions. Acme was immediately responsive and helpful. As noted above, the house was immaculate; and that motivated us to make sure that we left it completely clean and clear.

The house was absolutely wonderful! Great decor, comfortable and well-stocked, as well as a beautiful outdoor space. The pool and spa were great, and the bocce ball court was a really nice extra. Super close to downtown, which was a real plus. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Acme's customer service staff was exemplary. We will definitely use Acme for our future Palm Spring stays :)

Acme was super helpful and responsive during our stay and quickly solved the few requests that we had. Would love to stay with Acme again the next time we visit due to their fantastic customer service alone. The only thing I would mention for future guests is that the beds both have very firm mattresses, so if that is not what someone’s ideal sleeping situation is, they should be aware of that. But when we reached out to Acme about it, they quickly sent along a mattress pad to help us sleep better the rest of our stay, and it did help a bit compared to when we arrived.

We absolutely loved staying at the Modern Ranch Heaven! They even had gift boxes full of toys and treats for our pups! The home is very clean and close to everything in PS! We loved spending our days by the pool soaking in the sunshine and beautiful view! The host was very responsive and helpful.

The place was perfect for 2 couples. Being able to park in the garage was a nice surprise as I’ve stayed in other airbnbs where the garage was off limits. Price was very high but understandable for Coachella weekend.

This is a nice little mid century house with a nice large modern kitchen. It’s super close to Ruth Hardy park for some tennis or pickleball and a few minutes more to the uptown design district. But we spent most of our time in the amazing backyard - spa, pool (always warm and lovely for a quick dip), fire pit, hammock, grill and even a bocce court! We had a couple minor issues during our stay and Acme was super responsive - they were dealt with very quickly. I’d highly recommend this place and Acme for your PS stay.

This home away from home was amazing! I slept better on this bed than I did at home! I found the kitchen well stocked/ I actually ordered for my own kitchen a few of the gadgets that were very helpful. And can we just take a minute to admire the outdoor space!!!! Great experience and great house for our relaxing weekend in the pool. Backyard is great for pool time, and dining and hanging out. City Rules do limit the playing of music outside, unfortunately, but that's the same for all vacation rentals in Palm Springs. Inside is well appointed and thoughtfully laid out and stocked. Overall Comment Modern Ranch Heaven was truly that...heaven. The two bedroom house was perfectly appointed for our four-night stay. We absolutely loved this home in PS (near Ruth Park). It has to be the cleanest, well managed home we have rented in PS. The backyard was private, lots of shifted shade through out the day. Covered outdoor patio with fans and bocce court was a big bonus! Lovely inside home. Simple but very comfortable. Beds were firm (if you like that), Can't wait to return.

I recently returned from a couple of months at Modern Ranch and it is a beautiful haven. The yard is lovely and quiet. The house is comfortable and has all that one is easy walking distance to Ruth Hardy park. Acme is very quick to respond to any problems with the house. The pool was always at just the right temperature, and we could control the spa temp and jets to heat it up quickly whenever we wanted to use it (multiple times in a three night stay). We had fun playing bocce, and even had smores for an early decadent breakfast when our jet-lag kept us from using the firepit at night!

Overall Comment Just came back from a great stay at Modern Ranch Heaven for Modernernism Preview Weekend. The house was perfect - clean, kitchen well-equipped, beds comfortable, cute furnishings. But the backyard is what makes this house really exceptional. For a smaller house, the pool, spa, and lounge area was exceptional. The pool was always at just the right temperature, and we could control the spa temp and jets to heat it up quickly whenever we wanted to use it (multiple times in a three night stay). The property was beautiful and ACME was great. However, Saturday afternoon around 1pm the property next door had workers climbing up the palm trees that line the brick wall beside the pool, cutting down branches with a chain saw. It was quite disturbing because as we were swimming and trying to enjoy our time outside we were being covered in saw dust and branches flying down from the palm trees they were cutting so we had to end up going inside. It left excess branches laying all over the property and saw dust over all the outside furniture.

This home is fantastic for two people. Very comfortable and well appointed. Spotless inside and out. The backyard is perfectly set up with everything you could want. It is very private as well as beautifully landscaped. Also appreciated the garage for our car especially when it rained. The only issues were how to turn on the TV and internet access which was spotty. Acme was helpful with these issues.

Overall Comment Clean, exactly what was expected. The provided flashlight did not work and the very sheer drapes in the two bedrooms did not block light (this was a problem). Loved the pool and jacuzzi area and the location..a quiet neighborhood. A couple side tables outside would be helpful and some facial tissues would have been nice. As usual Acme staff were excellent; questions and one small maintenance issue were handled easily and quickly. We look forward to our third Acme rental in January and we're looking for dates for one of your homes in April.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool and spa was clean and very well maintained. The yard is perfect for relaxing (the hammock was a huge selling point for us!) or for active play with a toddler. We could easily walk to the shops, restaurants, and night market yet the road the house is on is very quiet. There is also a great park a block away with a fun play park for kids! A perfect place to escape to!

Upon arriving-it was better than the pics show, and the amount of space that we had to just sit back and relax was more than expected. Everything we needed was available to us, and the grocery store was just down and around the corner. The landscaper and pooly guy were great and very respectful to the guests. We spent late evenings out swimming and found the neighborhood to be quiet and peacful. We would book this home again should we be spending time down in PS again, and if it isn't available-then we would go through Acme to have our needs met. For the more energetic,it is a good walk to downtown. The single improvement I would recommend is making the garage usable, it would be nice to be able to park a vehicle inside. Choosing a home is easy, customer service is ready and waiting if there is ever an issue, and the homes are always awesome and ready on time. Our last rental was Modern Ranch Heaven and it was great! We always try to experience different properties, but if a new one wasn't available..I'd definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as pictured and had everything that we needed and most of what we wanted. Honestly, the best thing about our stay was the professionalism of Acme. Shortly after our arrival, our concierge came by to give us a tour of the home and explain how everything worked. We found this very helpful. Before bringing by some new lounge chairs,Acme called to let us know and ask if it was okay to access the house. Just an overall great experience. We will certainly rent with them again.

They are NOT animal trophies, but pieces (without any animal parts). The faux '60s art and kitsch is a hoot. we would gladly rent this property again.

The house and all was perfect, but we have rented more houses in the Palm Springs area with a pool, so we know a bit what's around. The house next door was being demolished, refurbished whatever, and there was some noise coming from that from time to time. My family and I had a great time at this location. The pictures truly reflected the house. The pool was fantastic for my daughter's (7&9). During our stay the pool guy cane and cleaned the pool, which was clean upon are arrival, but it got windy during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean. Kitchen stocked with really nice pots and pans. We used the grill outside. Suggestion: metal spatula for the grill. Washer & dryer there. We washed clothes before we left, which was really NICE. The rooms were big and clean. Bedding was nice and clean. Beds comfy. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Nothing over the top about them. I would suggest instead of the hotel soap/lotion/ shampoo samples, maybe leave larger sizes. Cable: ummm not so good, but the bonus of this was that we were out in the pool most of the time we weren't to worried about t.v. Suggestion: upgrade the cable in the bedrooms to be the same as the family room. Location: PERFECT!!!! Right around the corner from downtown, movie's, grocery store, bank, 10 mins to everything we went to. Last suggestion: have the check out time at 12:00 pm. 10:00 am is kinda early, makes for a early night the night before. Thanks for the stay, we will return

I also liked the open living concept. We travel quite a bit and fall into a nice rhythm rather quickly and this place met our needs very well. I liked the simplicity of the dishes and how drawers were laid out etc. I didn't do much cooking (breakfasts and easy lunches like sandwiches mostly) but the kitchen was well stocked. Although I was dealing with a 'company' - my interactions with Ken were very warm and professional and allowed for me to feel confident throughout the transaction. I would say there is a level of sophistication with renting from this company. The essentials for living were provided while making sure that nothing was so precious that you felt nervous to use it. We will come back to Palm Springs and will be looking at this place again!

The pool functions, i.e. turning on the spa and heating it up and then setting everything back to normal was extremely easy. Top of the line system. TVs in both the bedrooms was awesome. Bathrooms were clean. Tons of towels, extra sheets, pillows. Basically we wanted to move into this house. We will definitely consider this house for our next stay.

Upon arriving-it was better than the pics show, and the amount of space that we had to just sit back and relax was more than expected. Everything we needed was available to us, and the grocery store was just down and around the corner. The landscaper and pooly guy were great and very respectful to the guests. We spent late evenings out swimming and found the neighborhood to be quiet and peacful. We would book this home again should we be spending time down in PS again, and if it isn't available-then we would go through Acme to have our needs met. Overall Comment We had a very good vacation! The house was in a great location and close to downtown. It was easy to get to the major roads and close to airport and several golf courses. The beds were comfortable and well stocked. Unfortunately the weather was colder than usual and it would have been nice to heat the pool and hot tub at the same time. Also, the phone did not workso we were unable to make local calls. Other than that we would return to this comfy house and quiet neighborhood!

Overall Comment We stayed at the house on Marshall. Fred and I enjoyed the house and liked the location. Everything was clean. We only had one problem. The house was in escrow when we got there Being home owners we understood that the new buyer wanted to see the house. The new buyer was gracious when he arrived, asking if he could buy us dinner, for any inconvenience. We would not want that. What I could not understand is that the agent said they had been trying to call me. We were in the market, when I got the call that the buyer wanted to see the house. When I got home from vacation there were 3 messages on my home phone (of course I was not there). After several calls, I guess someone figured out they were not going to reach me, and Harrison called on my cell. We were caught by surprise. Other than that, everything went well. Clearly miscommunication. Thank you!

Overall Comment Spent a week at the house, everything was exactly as pictured here. The beds are so unbelievably comfortable. We had everything we needed in the house and you can't forget the great pool & spa very private. No complaints would definitely go back. Great experience.

Hi--we had the most wonderful time. It was especially wonderful because my husband & I were able to bring along our wooly-bully pup with us(Old English Bull-Terrier)& we all had a wonderful time enjoying the home together but especially the back yard=barbecue & swimming pool. It was all just perfefct.

Overall Comment Overall we really did enjoy this house. Although the inside could use some finishing details, the house was clean & well-stocked. Cable tv was not easy to use & although it states walking distance to downtown, this is not really accurate. We loved the two master bedrooms & two washrooms which were well mainted. The backyard is what we enjoyed the most - the pool was lovely & the hot tub at night was wonderful to have. No noise from neighbours besides the odd barking dog but overall very quiet & relaxing.

We could not have asked for a better home away from home for our family! Stayed for 5 nights with the husband and kiddos at spring break - the house was beautiful, clean, super easy to take care of, and most of all, KID FRIENDLY!! Our kids were in the wonderful pool first thing in the morning and we had to drag them out for meals. Everything was better than the photos could have shown. Plenty of towels for the pool, even some rafts & toys. The kitchen was well equipped, and the grill was great! The management was prompt and answered any questions we had, and the check--in/check-out could not have been easier. We had a car, so easy access to downtown, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The neighborhood was very quiet, which was nice for us. We hung out with some family members who stayed at a nearby resort that was booked to capacity for spring break - total chaos! It was very refreshing to come home to our quiet, clean, private pool, cook dinner, have a glass of wine and relax. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at this house with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a bachelorette party. Everything about the house was perfect. It was clean, well-decorated, well-maintained, well-stocked etc. The house and yard look just like the pictures. Every activity we had planned was a short and easy cab ride away, making the location (though in a residential area) convenient. I had hoped we would be able to walk to the restaurants, but it was a bit too far--at night, in heels. The cab system was easy, however, so it worked out fine. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and would even consider renting it again for future trips.

I rented this for my father's 80th birthday last year.... was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. Decorated beautifully and so hip! Thought it was such a steal! Everyone was so accomodating. Can't imagine anyone being unhappy about this house. I had a car, but I suppose you could walk to downtown within 20 minutes. Thanks again, great memories!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The house is very comfortable and perfectly located. Loved the private backyard, pool, and spa. The bed rooms are bigger then pictured. We would rent this home again and feel comfortable in recommending to friends and family. The rental process was a breeze and any questions were answered quickly.

The house exceeded my expectations. The pictures do not do justice as to the size of the backyard. The location was fantastic, close to local sites and easy access to head toward golfing destinations or shopping toward L.A. I would recommend this rental for any group: guys golfing trip, family vacation, ladies shopping excursions.

My husband, son and I spent an enjoyable week here this past November. Great house with all the amenities in a central, family friendly neighbourhood. Don't stay in a hotel when you can opt for a stylish well-appointed house with a pool all to yourself!
