OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
As beautiful as the interiors of this home are, it is the pool yard that elevates Modern Marion to Executive Status. Walled for privacy, the backyard captures the glamour of Southern California living. Stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains, sundrenched pool with an integrated spa - surrounded by chaise lounges, patio umbrellas, al fresco dining and a fire pit lounge. Fruit trees, palm trees and other mature plantings dot the property.

INTERIOR LIVING SPACES
This entire property has been carefully space planned - making Modern Marion the perfect place for families, small groups and anyone who wants the true Palm Springs experience. The free flowing floor plan, walls of glass and wonderfully white palette create a sophisticated yet very comfortable and livable space.

This home is bright and light - with a happy, optimistic, easy-living vibe. As though ripped from the pages of Architectural Digest - you’ll find the designers took full advantage of the awesome mountain views from nearly every room - bringing the outside in wherever possible. The carefully curated combination of authentic and midcentury-inspired art and furnishings create that quintessential desert vibe of yesteryear.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
The bedrooms are all designed with the look and feel of a boutique hotel. Hotel-quality mattresses, ample closet space and flat screen TVs. There's a King master suite plus two Queen Guest Rooms in the main house. The Guest Casita is gorgeous - set off with its own entrance and ensuite bath.

THE LOCATION
Modern Marion is perfectly located for those who want to be close to everything - but still want their pool yard to be quiet and private. The home is nestled on an oversized corner lot in South Palm Springs where the Twin Palms neighborhood meets the Indian Canyons - less than a mile from the Indian Canyons Golf Resort, a 36-hole course set on 550 acres of Native American land.

This quiet residential neighborhood is ideal for walking and bike riding. Flat picturesque streets are lined with towering Palm Trees and gorgeous architecturally significant properties. You will be close to hiking trails, fine dining restaurants, coffee houses, entertainment venues and local conveniences like grocery stores, sandwich shops and burger joints. Most of the homes on the now famous Palm Springs Door Tour can be found in the blocks surrounding Modern Marion at Twin Palms.

Driving is completely optional while staying with us since you will be less than a mile from the South Palm Springs Business District. That's where you'll find popular hot spots including the Purple Room, Koffii, Elmer’s, Dead or Alive wine bar, Mr Lyons, Marisol and Kreem. We have a very reliable Uber and Lyft network - providing easy access to everything else in Palm Springs and surrounding desert cities.

This was a great house

This was a great house for a long weekend with a small group of friends. It’s a stylish place and felt recently redone and very clean. It’s on a quiet street with other modernist houses, and for our group the Palm Springs noise ordinance rules weren’t any problem. The house has a good pool set-up, including lots of seating and umbrellas which were much appreciated when the sun was blazing—though we did lose an afternoon of swimming at the start, since the pool cleaning schedule is twice a week and didn’t mesh well with our arrival. The kitchen was well appointed with stuff for cooking but you’ll have to get all grocery-related items except salt and pepper. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. There were a couple little maintenance issues that came up but Acme was easy to reach, by text and phone, and quick to respond to them.

This house is gorgeous. The decor is absolutely beautiful, the kitchen is incredible and very well stocked with any gadgets you might need to make any meal or drink (we baked cupcakes!) the outdoor bar is a lovely feature as well. There are so many little areas to sit that get shade in different parts of the day. The beds are extremely comfortable, the TVs have Roku, and the AC works well. It’s always nice to have laundry machines on site as well. The pool is fantastic, it’s big and really deep on one end, the outdoor shower is such a luxury too. I spent my birthday weekend with five friends here and it was such a good time, we made drinks, we cooked food, we hung out in the pool. I miss it already!! It’s very quiet and peaceful in the area, the perfect place for a vacation. It’s close to a lot of good food, we didn’t really walk anywhere because it was too hot but there are definitely businesses that are walking distance. We honestly didn’t leave the house much at all, you don’t even need to! I will definitely be coming back here!!! Perfect Palm Springs oasis.

Modern Marion at Twin Palms is by far the nicest, cleanest and most thoughtfully curated designer home. The view - omg!! That alone is worth the stay. The kitchen is large, well stocked and very organized. The bedrooms are nicer than most hotels and the backyard area is perfectly setup with so many different areas to relax. We actually never felt like we missed out anything because it was so nice just relaxing here! From the pool and spa to the fire pit -- gorgeous landscaping and oh, so private. It's a must to walk through this sublime Palm Springs neighborhood to koffi for a bite, then stroll over to Moorten Botanical Gardens for a look at the flora and fauna of the desert up close. The house is truly perfect in every way...we could not think of one thing we would change except being able to stay longer! Thank you :)

Overall Comment Acme was most responsive to any of my requests. as a probable continued renter, I wish the owner would get more comfortable seating the the Living room. there is not one seat that is comfortable. The owner may want to cut down the two trees that lean over the roof. As a former home owner in warm climate, I found these to be a road for rats to get on roof and probable entry into the house. also please move outdoor dining table out from under the trees where the birds poop all over the table daily! It may be attractively located but no one would eat there. Fix the towel hook in guest bathroom and get more towel hooks for the guest bath. One isn't enough for two bedrooms. The master bath could use at least more towel hook as well.

Such a beautiful place that is very well laid out. Pictures are great but once you arrive it makes it 10x better. We did have some issues with the pool and hot tub but once we contacted the property they sent someone over right away to get the issues resolved. Will be back for sure!!

Overall Comment We had a lovely 3 night stay at this house. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and the layout of the house was really nice. Two downsides - the air conditioning is VERY noisy and the master bed was very squeaky. Other than that this was a GREAT house!

Modern Marion at Twin Palms

Great stay at Twin Palms. I have to say we have stayed at many rentals and the rental company, Acme and these owners are well prepared for guests! Everything was there that we needed! I always pre buy supplies and groceries and we left the dry goods behind because there was plenty of everything already there. Great beds and layout. Pool was fun and the house is in a super cool neighborhood full of mid century Palm Springs vibe. If we come back for the tennis we will stay again.

Overall Comment Outstanding all the way! Modern Marion was exquisite. This was our 4th trip to Palm Springs and Modern Marion was by far our best home rental. ACME, as usual, makes it easy. Property was excellent for 4 teenage girls plus 2 adults. Only opportunity for improvement is more reliable WiFi. We are already looking forward to a return trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures of Modern Marion online don't do it justice. The rooms flow beautifully one into the other-the house was spotless with very comfy beds and pillows and a completely well-stocked kitchen. They have unbreakable plates and glasses for out by the pool. Speaking of the pool- it's a fabulous large pool with attached hot tub. Poor temperature was perfect around 85 degrees- hot tub about 110. You can't adjust the heat but you flip the heat between the hot tub or the pool. Nice fire pit outside where we roasted marshmallows. Beautifully landscaped backyard for total privacy the home is at the foot of the beautiful mountains- it's really breathtaking. You are 3/4 of a mile from downtown. Two great restaurants we hit were Giuseppe's with deep dish pizza and Smoke T upree BBQ- best BBQ I ever had-beef brisket is to die for I booked this house through Les- (sweetie) at Acme and was met by Brenda on our first day- she did a walk-through of the house and explained everything which was a nice touch Upon arrival there were no pool floaties so Brenda contacted the right people and we had them within two hours. There were two issues during our stay- 1 clogged drain in the shower and the automatic backyard lights were not working...
