I have stayed at many acme homes over the years. My friends and i have rented the larger homes and recently i rented a small bungalow called “Midcentury Cool”. The houses have always been delivered sparkling clean and well appointed. Second stay at Mid Century Cool. What a great house! Super clean and well stocked! Beautiful backyard! Acme was wonderful to work with and my dog says thanks for the doggie box, it was a big hit! We will definitely return.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet/relaxing getaway and this house was perfect. The interior touches are very nice and the private pool in the backyard is very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is situated within minutes of the airport and a very easy 1.5 mile walk to downtown Palm Springs.

We were relocated to another Acme property bc this one became unavailable. We found the San Lucas hideout lovely and we would love to stay again. Our hosts were responsive to our needs and helpful. They went above and beyond for us!

Great at communication and flexible for discounted add on days if it’s available. Nice pool and hot tub, nice fire pit and bbq. Has all the amenities. Neighbor to the left of the house is very rude and was yelling obscenities at us one of the nights because our dog barked at a noise. There was no music, party, loud noises or anything else, just the dog barking a couple times. He called the cops and they came but had no concerns and left. It appeared this may be a normal occurrence that they have to deal with this neighbors senseless noise complaints.

We four sisters had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool, hot tub and exterior furniture were perfect. Lovely views of the mountains and close to everything. Very comfortable!

This was our second time to stay in an Acme property, and again everything was top-notch. Midcentury Cool is an Alexander home, and we enjoyed its clean, functional design and open spaces. The saltwater pool and spa were refreshing, the kitchen had everything we could need, the beds were comfortable: everything impeccable. We also liked the location, 5 minutes from downtown and close to grocery stores, parks, and our new favorite wine bar. Again this year we found the Acme staff to be friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our last day, and even though it was late Saturday night by the time I texted about it, I got a response from an actual person, apologies for the inconvenience, and a promise that a technician would take care of it the next day. We hope to be back again for yet another stay in an Acme house.

We had such a lovely time at this home. We loved lounging by the pool, grilling and eating outside, and taking a dip in the hot tub when the weather cooled. The house is a 3 minute drive to Ruth Hardy Park where we played tennis every day.

My husband and I along with our two adult daughters drove from Alberta to our little haven in Palm Springs for just over a week long stay. We were very impressed with Acme House Company. Prior to our arrival they were very prompt at replying to any questions and provided us with detailed information regarding check in a week prior to our arrival. They also texted the information a day before. The house is exactly as pictured and was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very clean and well stocked. We didn’t cook at all but the kitchen had all the dishes etc. that you would need. There were plenty of towels for showers and for the pool. The beds are comfortable and there were extra blankets available. The location was very convenient. It was just a short drive to downtown. The backyard felt very private with tall hedges surrounding it and we enjoyed our morning walks through the neighborhood. The pool was great! We noticed that it felt cool a few days in and that our controls for the spa didn’t work so we contacted Acme and they were on it immediately. They ended up sending out a pool vendor to check it out and the poor guy came at 8:30 pm. He got the spa running and fixed the temperature in the pool. We told him we could wait until the next day to fix the control in the house since it was so late. They came back the next day and repaired the controls. They were super friendly and clearly competent as they got everything up and running very quickly. We really enjoyed the...

This home was very clean… with great pool and spa. We were supplied with enough coffee for the week as well as creamer and sugar. Abundance of kitchen supplies! My only slight issue is that many things were not meant for someone 5’1” tall. There was no wad I could reach most of the dishes and glasses as well as a squeegee in the shower to help keep the glass clean. Could not even reach the buttons for garbage disposal. Luckily, tall husband was there! But all In all… great home and neighborhood.!

Great stay. Wonderful pool and back yard. Encountered a serious blockage in the kitchen drain due to previous tenant. Property managers sent Jose out within a half hour on Christmas morning to fix it! Saved our Christmas dinner! Thank you, Jose!

We were very close to downtown although we mostly stayed at the house enjoying the saltwater pool! Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall Comment We stayed here on a work-action and had a good laugh about how taking our video calls we looked like we were hanging out in a real-world Zoom background. The home is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped and the pool & hot tub are quintessential Palm Springs. Only downside was the Internet router had to be re-booted multiple times a day, often failing in the middle of meetings.
