Rented Funtopia in the Canyons for eleven days and it was a great house and a great stay. The outdoor area was incredible and very comfortable interior. The house is on a busy street but there was zero issues with road noise as it quiets down in the evening and even during the day we didn't notice it at all when in the backyard.

We rented this property for a week long girls getaway in October, and had a lovely time. The house was as expected from reading the online information and the photos provided. We would all recommend this property to others, and would certainly stay here again in the future. There were a few items that were not perfect: there is road noise in two of the bedrooms as mentioned in other reviews, the guest shower glass doors were impossible to slide (seemed to be off of their tracks and very heavy), the ice maker in the refrigeration was not good, and there were some lighting issues outside in the evening. Many of the bulbs in the Palm Springs sign were out (makes for a not so great selfie), and the pool lights switched colors every 2 or 3 seconds (not very relaxing). Other than those small items we found the home to be really great. The beds were comfortable (especially the master), there were plenty of towels and they were very soft and fluffy, good internet access, fantastic pool, spa, and fire pit. It's always hard to cook in a kitchen that is not your own, but overall we found everything we needed and appreciated that there were spices, oils and wrappings (aluminum & plastic) available to use. There were also sufficient amounts of soaps (hand, hair, dish, laundry) and lotions throughout the house to use, which is really helpful. We had a great stay and do recommend!

We were really pleased with Funtopia. The location was convenient and the house was just as described. The pool area was private with plenty of umbrellas and comfortable chairs. We loved the putting green and light up Palm Springs sign. The check-in process was easy and the property management team was responsive. We would rent this property again.

We had a great stay at Funtopia! The home was spotless! Great floor plan and outdoor space! The pool was at the perfect temperature! We spent some evenings around the outdoor fireplace which was beautiful! The location is the best! You can walk to the grocery store and other stores, very convenient. Neighborhood was great to take daily walks. All communication through Acme House company was perfect! I highly recommend this property and company and would definitely stay here again! Thanks for opening your home! We had a great trip!

Amazing stay! We've stayed many places, but this one was the most set up of all! Pictures are what you get! Beyond the pictures was the amazing kitchen! FULLY STOCKED! With great pans and sharp knives! Made cooking fun. All in all, amazing time was had by our family. Road noise was a little loud in the morning while sitting at the fire pit...ONLY drawback

The house was exactly as represented in the photos. My kids loved everything - the Pac-Man machine, the pool, the hot tub, the miniature golf, the foosball, all of it. Property manager was responsive and top-notch. Will definitely be back.

The outside space at this property is amazing. The pool and backyard area could be used for your entire stay easily. The house has lots of room. Only thing to keep in mind is the master bedroom is massive, but the other bedrooms are quite small. Keep in mind if you're sharing with another family. We had some communication issues while we were there as the faucet in the main floor bathroom didn't work the entire time we were there and we couldn't get a hold of anyone to get it fixed. We've used ACME House Company several times now though and the experience is always good. The positives of their properties far outweigh any negatives.

Overall Comment We had a blast – grandparents, parents and child. Funtopia really is the best name for this beautiful, spacious, light-filled and fun-filled house. Foosball, Pac-Man, bocce court and mini-golf all got a strong workout. Th fabe pool was fabulous – a real godsend during the string of 100-degree days we experienced. Almost all of us had school or work commitments during our stay, but the house is so large and roomy that there was never a problem finding a quiet space and privacy. The kitchen was very well-equipped (except for the knives) and the systems worked well.

We had a great time at this home which was perfect for us. It's unfortunate that you can't play music outside at all while enjoying the pool, BBQ and fire pit but otherwise it was a ideal place. Also a great location, grocery store just down the street and not far to bars and restaurants.

In the photos online, the property looked magnificent! In reality, the photos did not do the property justice!! It was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is a masterpiece and we used it well. Outdoor seating, both poolside and for dining, was perfect for our family. And the presence of a Pac Man machine was the icing on the cake. The house was as advertised. The pool area was where we spent most of our time because it was 105+ degrees. Kitchen looked brand new. We cooked all meals at the house. There was a lot of communication prior to our arrival. A concierge met us when we arrived to show us the house. Also to sign a city form about no amplified music outside the house. Wasn't aware of this beforehand, but didn't effect our stay. The check out process is done through the Hospitality app. There was no feedback letting me know they had received my checkout notification. I had to call to verify. We would stay again. Markets are very close. If it wasn't so hot we could have walked there.

Such a great house! Spacious with lots of places to retreat and relax. The house is presented with great Palm Springs flair and is exceptionally clean. The pool area is lovely and many hours were enjoyed poolside. The addition of the many board games, the lawn bowls and mini golf are an added joyful benefit. Location to local amenities is a benefit and the views of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. This is a perfect house for family and or a group of friends to enjoy.

This place is absolutely AMAZING. There is something for everyone whether you just want to chill out in one of the plush seating areas or enjoy one of the many games provided both inside and out. Everything in this perfect home has been carefully thought through. The non slip shaded area in the pool was the perfect place for my grandson to slash around happily whilst the hot tub was an indulgence for the adults. Subtle outside lighting created each area with its own special ambience in the evenings and the fire pit and bbq area was especially relaxing. The wash rooms toiletries had even been placed on either side of the sink, a small thing I know but just goes to show how much care has gone into this beautiful home. There are great places to eat and a supermarket within walking distance just around the corner. Regular free transport into the town itself is also nearby not that you will ever want to leave once you walk through the front door. Returning in September. Can't wait.

This is a perfect place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment which is important to us when we travel. The pool and hot tub were warm and easy to control and the amenities in the house was everything you’d expect. Location is good and the back of the house is quiet as you can barely hear street traffic.

Everything about the house and location was perfect. Check in and Check out was very easy. The house is perfect!!! The management company was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The only concern I would have renting in Palm Springs again is their new noise ordinances restricting any outside music/noise for vacation rentals. When we checked in we were told that if one of the neighbors called to complain about any noise carrying over to their property, a city worker would be dispatched to investigate within 30 minutes. If on arrival the worker could hear any amplified music or just too loud of talking from the property, there would be a fine and we would be immediately evicted. To prove the point we were told the story of a woman playing music on her Iphone ( not using any other speakers just the phone speakers) who got fined and evicted. I understand the need to protect the neighbors but this goes too far. You would think that at minimum you could get a warning first. It really put a damper on our time there because we were constantly on guard to make sure no one talked to loud or left the doors open when music or the TV was playing in the house. The next time we have a get together we will be looking at other cities/locations where we won't feel so restricted.

In every aspect of our stay we felt this home had everything. Location - perfect for Palm Springs or Rancho Mirage. Bars and restaurants within walking distance, as well as supermarkets and other shops. The pool is outstanding, brilliant size and exceedingly clean. Entertainment is amazing; mini golf, boules, great TV’s, media, WiFI - everything thought of. The BBQ needs a light by it but it was in excellent condition. The fire pit was ace as were the sun beds (the best ever). Kitchen was awesome with all of the things you need to be self sufficient. My only issue - I want to be able to book Funtopia again so hope this superb home is available when the time comes.

great home. fairly central with a shopping centre next door which was quite convenient. the home is spacious and well maintained. plenty of supplies. lots of fun extras (foosball, pacman, putting green and bocce). acme was very responsive with great instructions. only feedbacks are that the pool cleaners came on the wrong day (twice) and possibly having access to a garage remote would have made things a bit more convenient.

This is a great home....that has a lot to offer. Between the pool, games, large seating areas, beautiful kitchen....there's something for everyone. Plus, the restaurants and shops are nearby, if that suits you. We had a great time, and loved the home and the location. We hope to get back to Funtopia very soon!

The pool is amazing with relaxing waterfalls. The master bed had massage features that were fantastic for my back pain. Foosball, pac man and board games helped make this one of our favorite desert retreats. We noticed caterpillars throughout the house and did our best to help them back outside. The air conditioning worked perfectly just like everything else in this home. The home instructions were effortless and organized. The manager was so nice and had great suggestions for local activities as well. We look forward to returning soon.

Overall Comment As soon as we arrived, I kicked myself for not booking more days here. Everything was perfect. Spacious rooms, gorgeous outdoor space and convenient to shops. We had s’mores at the fire pit, bbq on the patio and perfectly chilled wine from the wine fridge. The pool is amazing with relaxing waterfalls. This place is 5 star. It's ultra comfortable and very well appointed. They have all the toys! It's a great home for families and couples who want a luxurious getaway. It's a quick walk to a grocery store, Italian restaurant and a good burger place. We had a great time with plenty of space to cook, grill, hang out but also get some alone time. We will be back!

Overall Comment Beautiful home close to downtown Palm Springs. Kitchen complete with everything you could possibly need. Towels, linens - everything was perfect. Best of all - the backyard is like your own private resort. We can't wait to stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is amazing. Surprisingly the pictures do not do it justice. There is a very nice master bath with a sunken tub. All the appliances are brand new, not even sure all of them had been used yet. The kitchen has everything you could need for entertaining as well as a well appointed bar. And the pool, the pool is fantastic. Salt water, very minimal chlorine and the company had it cleaned twice while we were there. Acme House Company provided the best customer service that I have ever experienced in a rental company. We needed more hangers, they were there in twenty minutes. We didn't know how to turn on the Palm Spring Light in the back yard, they were there in twenty minutes. When you call them they answer using your name, no explaining who and where you are. They are not rude or put out, their demeanor was professional but also happy when they interacted with us. The house was spotless upon arrival, inside and out. I would be happy to rent from Acme again, it was a great experience.
