Casa Bonita is a charming vacation home tucked away on a quiet residential cul-de-sac. The property features absolutely stunning mountain views and a private, resort-style yard. You'll find a pool and spa on one end of the yard, and an outdoor dining pavilion with alfresco dining and a BBQ grill on the other. There is also a life-size game of Connect 4 which is perfect for a family getaway – plus the kitchen is well-stocked and set up to be a chef's kitchen! This property is gorgeous yet livable - it's the type of place where you can put your feet up and relax. Beds: K,Q,F,T

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property captures the magic of Southern California glamour. The sprawling yard is very private and features absolutely gorgeous mountain views. The pool and spa are at one end of the yard - surrounded by lounge chairs perfect for catching some rays. The other end of the yard features a covered outdoor dining pavilion and a BBQ grill - there's even a life-size Connect 4! It's a great place for having fun in the Palm Springs sunshine.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
This fabulous vacation home has been perfectly space planned for comfort and relaxing in the sunshine. Spectacular walls of glass around the house let the light pour in - revealing the private yard. The kitchen, living and dining areas all flow into each other, perfect for spending time with your entire group. The well-stocked kitchen has been setup to be a chef's kitchen – great for group or individual meal prep, and great for holiday getaways!

This property has been updated for the way we live today - with high-speed internet, 4 flat screen televisions, high performance climate control and a well stocked kitchen featuring upgraded stainless steel appliances.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each of the bedrooms features a hotel-quality mattress, flatscreen TV and ample storage. The spacious primary suite has a King bed and an en suite bathroom, plus direct access to the yard. One guest room has a Queen bed and the other guest room has a Full bed and a Twin bed. Both guest rooms share easy access to a bathroom in the hallway.

THE LOCATION
Casa Bonita is located in Oasis del Sol - a quiet neighborhood close to town but a little removed from all the hustle and bustle. Close to Downtown and the Uptown Design District. You'll be just about 1.5 miles from Ruth Hardy Park, the Convention Center, the Casino and so many other attractions. Restaurants, shopping, hiking, golf and tennis are all nearby. Casa Bonita is ideal for those who want to be in the center of it all - without giving up the quiet residential feel.

The neighborhood was really nice to walk around in and the cul-de-sac was great for the kids. We were close the airport and I asked about this before booking, but the planes didn't bother us. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again! The host was very responsive as well!

There’s some noise from planes taking off at the airport, but that’s to be expected for the area and we enjoyed watching planes departing from the pool.

Interior 4-5 star, Exterior 3 star

Beautifully designed, clean, well-equipped interior with comfy beds. TV position in main room could be improved as we had to sit side ways on the couch to see it. Fortunately we kept busy without the TV but if this was a longer term rental it would have been more problematic and irritating. The patio and pool area were in need of a good power washing (perhaps due to a rainy winter) and 2/4 exterior door mats were absolutely filthy (I ended up swapping one with the garage mat to avoid stepping on it with bare feet). Acme was very responsive and sent an engineer when we discovered the pool lights were not working. Overall, a very good experience. A few small changes would make it exceptional.

Only downside is that the neighborhood is not very walkable (which is fairly true of Palm Springs in general). It’s a very nice, well-equipped, clean, and well-managed place. It hit the sweet spot for us. We entertained friends there and it worked very well for that. Acme seems to be a very good house manager. They were friendly, proactive, and their binder on the house was well-organized and very useful. Recommended.

The house, pool, and spa were spotless and everything was fully functional. Check-in was incredibly smooth, check-out was easier than most places. Some slightly contradictory communications via text vs. email, but no big problems. Beds were reasonably comfortable (I have very high standards). The one slight downside is the property is right by the airport so there's noticeable noise from planes. Other than that, highly, highly recommended!

I stayed at Casa Bonita with 5 friends. We had an absolutely great time. The house is super clean, which always makes it an enjoyable experience. The pool is the best part of the house, because it’s a great way to cool off in the hot desert and chit chat with your friends/family while having a couple drinks! Lastly the house is super close to the airport and downtown Palm Springs, which made it a very convenient place to stay. You will never be stressed on your vacation, if you choose Casa Bonita as your destination! :D

The house was beautiful and super clean. They let us check in an hour early, which was much appreciated considering the heat. The pool light was out, but they were kinda enough to send someone over with fun, color-changing floating lights!!
