Great stay - beautiful house

We had a wonderful time at ACME’s Bubblegum Modern house in Palm Springs. The description of the house and amenities in the listing is very accurate. A wonderful pool/hot tub and two fire features all were enjoyable. The location of the house is minutes from downtown and the neighborhood is very quiet. The front and back yard landscaping is truly dramatic and very well thought out. I definitely recommend this property and thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism of the ACME staff.

This was a great place for our family (with two young kids who love to swim), and close to downtown Palm Springs. We paid for the heated pool, which was definitely the way to go given that temps were in the 70's-80's. It could have been even warmer, but there's no feature to adjust the temperature. Would stay again.

Great home for a girls weekend. Very quiet and relaxing. Just enough room for 4 of us. Outdoor space was lovely and had everything we needed. Everything was just as pictured and descriptions were accurate. They provided coffee which was much appreciated. I had a question about the pool and they were fast to respond. Would recommend this home.

We loved our time at Bubblegum Modern - super fun place with great amenities! We really appreciated that it was well stocked with linens, soaps, detergents, and paper products as well as having a fully stocked kitchen. We spent most of our time in the awesome backyard - it is perfect!

Very nice home perfect for my husband and I with out little pup. Extremely clean lots of little extras to make you feel like you are in a your own private hotel. Backyard was so nice and big, with fire pits, pool, hot tub. Home is great for a couple and perhaps 2 children but a bit small to bring another couple in our opinion. Overall we would stay here again. Very happy with our stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Bubblegum Modern with our dog for a multi day getaway. The property was extremely well-kept and clean and in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The house had everything you need to feel at home, including a well-equipped kitchen. The backyard is gorgeous with a great layout. The pool and spa were perfect and relaxing with the mountains providing a lovely backdrop. Easy and relaxing trip. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment I called Acme and spoke with Renee I knew I had made the right choice. The booking experience could not have been any easier. My questions were answered fully and she was a pleasure to work with. Once at the property we discovered everything was exactly as described. The home and property were spotless! The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. My family loved this place and Acme made sure our stay was perfect. We had to contact Acme during our stay and they responded immediately and resolved everything. In the future I will only book with Acme and we expect to visit this home again. Thank you for a great vacation for my family.

A very cute house on a very cute street. The house is small but decorated very nice. Definitely had the Palm Springs vibe. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen with everything you need. Large yard with fire pits, hot tub, and pool. Everything was clean and worked great. We had everything we needed for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Bubblegum. The house is nicely decorated has a beautiful pool and spa and is in a quiet neighborhood in downtown Palm Springs. Palm Springs is very strict about noise levels not allowing music outside and children must play quietly. This does make the neighborhood peaceful but if you have children please be aware of these ordinances. The folks at Acme were very helpful and did their best to make our stay pleasant.

My stay at Bubblegum Modern was amazing. Check-in was a breeze and the house exceeded my expectations. From the cleanliness of the home, to the amenities offered and the mountain views, it was the best getaway for a girls trip in the middle of a pandemic. Super stylish and truly relaxing! I read reviews about Palm Springs having a no music ordinance prior to coming and unfortunately it was true. As a surprise to us, we still had a lot of fun (and learned the sliding doors that lead to the backyard are pretty soundproof :)). The one and only unfortunate thing that happened was our oven stopped working on the first day and so some of the groceries we planned to bake went to waste. Other than that, no complaints! I would stay here again and have already recommended it to a few friends who are looking for a getaway.

The outdoor space with multiple fire features, seating areas, hot tub and pool was fantastic! Exactly what our family was wanting for our Fourth of July getaway. The house is adorable with its decor and cleanliness, and was well equipped as far as tech (for the teenagers) and amenities (kitchen, laundry, A/C, etc.). It was the perfect size for our family of 6 and two dogs.

Loved this place. We had an amazing time and it is a beautiful house. Amazing yard, pool, hot tub. It was the perfect place to nest during quarantine. We were new to Palm Springs. Do a little research on wind. Seems to be in a windy part of town however it might just have been a stormy time of year.

Stunning home in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Everything was stylish and designed beautifully. The backyard was modern and spacious with two fire pits, pool and jacuzzi.There were so many instagrammable areas, and I wanted to take photos all day. We had 6 adults in our party. We were looking for a place close to town, restaurants, and nightlife. We loved the cute charm of the decor! Having king size beds in each room was perfect! It was a bit warm in the rooms, so we were thankful for fans in each room. Only thing that would have made the stay more pleasant, would be the use of low volume music playing outside by the pool. Oddly enough we could listen to the nearby kids screaming outside during recess or the landscaping equipment being used, but we couldn't have music playing. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and look forward to staying at this location again soon!

We had 6 adults in our party. We were looking for a place close to town, restaurants, and nightlife. We loved the cute charm of the decor! Having king size beds in each room was perfect! It was a bit warm in the rooms, so we were thankful for fans in each room. Only thing that would have made the stay more pleasant, would be the use of low volume music playing outside by the pool. Oddly enough we could listen to the nearby kids screaming outside during recess or the landscaping equipment being used, but we couldn't have music playing. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and look forward to staying at this location again soon!

Loved this place. Beautifully furnished. Fun art. Fabulous private pool yard. The Acme Management team was so helpful and kind. Thanks Acme for introducing us to Babes BBQ who delivered poolside BBQ to the house twice during our stay! Deeeeeelish! We had a wonderful 5 nights of complete relax time. Thank you.

This house was perfect for our girl's weekend, it was in a great location near to central Palm Springs - a 10 minute Uber ride to restaurants and bars. The house itself had a wonderful pool and outdoor areas with fire pits, spacious, well-decorated living areas and was well stocked with amenities - plenty of towels, soaps, dishwashing fluid, laundry detergent, spices/basic items for cooking, a fully equipped kitchen, etc. We would definitely stay here again and loved our weekend here!

We loved our time at Bubblegum Modern and were sad to have to say goodbye. The house was every bit as beautiful as the pictures online... possibly even more so! The hosts were very thoughtful and provided information about nearby grocery stores and good places to eat out.

You cannot go wrong with this place! They give you everything you need at your fingertips, from excellent kitchen amenities to check-out instructions to instructions on just about anything you can find in the home. The pool, yard and home were stunning and we took full advantage of the space. The beds were comfortable, and the home was SPOTLESS. I couldn't possibly have loved my experience anymore.

This house is absolutely lovely. They've thought of everything - plenty of towels (special pink ones for poolside), awesome kitchen & grill with all the tools you need for cooking. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so thoughtfully curated. Ultimate house for a chilled out vacation.

We stayed at Bubblegum Modern and loved our stay! The design is totally Palm Springs glam. Super fun, comfy beds and heated pool/hot tub. Perfect getaway with the fam... would love to return for a girls weekend soon! Highly reccomend this house.

We love mid-century design, but the Bubble Gum Modern House takes it to a new level. The floor plan is the perfect use of small spaces, making the house feel larger than it really is. Of course, it helps to have a yard that flows seamlessly from house to patio, pool and spa. What a relaxing weekend! It was like being in a luxury hotel, but with very private ambiance. The whole property is decorated with sense of panache and whimsy. We'll be looking forward to another stay in the future!

I almost never write reviews but this house blew me away. As an architect, I am hypercritical when it comes to design. Bubble Gum hits the spot. It offers a well curated mid century backdrop while providing all the comfort of a clean home. I love the selection of colors which make the house feel light and airy. It is the perfect place to host, relax in the pool / spa, or retreat in the bedroom. I invited some friends over and we had a fantastic time enjoying BBQ, dancing by the outdoor fireplace with unobstructed mountain view. It is centrally located so it was super convenient to got to downtown PS and supermarkets. I have visited PS many times but this was by far the best experience and I definitely will be stay here again in the future.

The bubble gum modern was an absolutely delightfully restored classic Palm Springs mid century, very well designed with lots of unique and thoughtful touches inside and out. The star of the show is the backyard. Once you walk out the back door, you'll never want to leave. The grounds are purposefully divided into many different zones that all flow together perfectly, from pool to dining to fire pit to conversation nooks, mountain views and private patios. This is a home I could return to again and again to relax and refresh without feeling bored

We had the pleasure at staying at this luxurious mid century modern home. If I could give it more stars, I would. The amenities were incredible. Starting with the super comfy beds and all the bedrooms that have ample space and closets, plus all the rooms are beautifully decorated and stick the the 'bubble gum modern' theme. The outside living space is divine! Not one, but 2 fire pits! I was so inspired by this homes' backyard space that I immediately want to remodel my own backyard. The hot tub is enormous and even has its own light show. Plus you cannot beat the unbelievable views. Sitting in the hot tub during sunset overlooking the mountain... Ahhhhh. So relaxing! Plenty of space for a long weekend or even a longer stay. Conveniently located and easy access to lots of shopping. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

We have stayed at Bubble Gum house twice and each time has been relaxing and enjoyable. The house is airy and sensitive to its architectural era; immaculate inside and out. The beds are so comfortable you don't want to get up in the morning. The open kitchen and dining area were perfect for getting everyone together for entertaining. The multiple outside sitting and eating areas gave everyone a place to get away if they wanted. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The fire table and fire pit were great for staying warm on cool nights. I look forward to visiting again. Our stay couldn't have been better.

Enjoy a classic mid-century experience with contemporary amenities. The backyard pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit, and wonderful mountain view were my favorite. The location is convenient to all of Palm Springs, and compared to a hotel, this property was an incredible value.

I had the opportunity a few weeks ago during the holiday weekend in February where the weather was perfect. The house is beautiful and in a perfect area of Palm Springs in a nice residential neighborhood. The backyard with the Jacuzzi and pool really set the evening to relax before going to dinner. The morning was beautiful with a great view being surrounding by the mountains and the sunrise which was breathtaking and the peacefulness of enjoying the sunrise. I enjoyed my stay in the Bubble Gum Modern..... Great decorating of the house and theme to the house.

The owner's comments below were in a brochure for the 2018 Racquet Club Estates Home Tour during Modernism Week; we were very excited that Bubble Gum Modern was one of 7 homes on the tour! After about a year of searching, we finally found our Palm Springs dream home in the Racket-Club Estates in May 2017 and couldn't be happier. There were many things that attracted us to this home. Having met the architect William Krisel on a Palm Springs Modernism Week house tour about 5 years earlier, we loved that we were now owners of an Alexander Co./Krisel home and a fairly pure one at that without awkward additions. We love that our immediate neighborhood is quiet, filled with other mid-century homes, and feels like a step back in time to a bygone era, while also so close to Victoria Park. We especially love our huge lot with insane, unobstructed mountain views. Most of the interior changes that we made were relatively simple -- painting extensively, installing hanging light fixtures and black-out shades, making a few small bathroom modifications, and picking out furnishings. Originally, our outdoor space was largely just the pool, rocks, and minimal landscaping; thus, our big renovation project was really to improve our back-yard space. We worked with a local architectural landscape design firm to create and implement a beautiful, playful, and functional design that would also resonate with our mid-century home.
