Desert Song is a luxury vacation condo home in the Monterey Country Club where it's all about active living in the sunshine on the Golf Course. Fabulous Palm Desert Location. This is the ideal desert escape - perfect for extended weekends, month-long vacations, and seasonal getaways for snowbirds. The owners regularly use this property for their own enjoyment, so you can trust that it is well maintained, impeccably clean and very comfortable.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property has two outdoor living areas. The fairway patio is its crowning glory - where you can dine alfresco and enjoy evening cocktails while taking full advantage of spectacular fairway views that reveal the majestic mountains and swaying palm trees.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Fresh, bright with lots of light. The open concept floor plan, vaulted ceilings, walls of glass, and two outdoor living areas make this home perfect for spreading out with your entire group. The great room offers plenty of comfortable seating, a large flat screen television, interior dining for 6 and easy access to the kitchen. All along the back of the condo, you’ll find walls of glass that that reveal the gorgeous fairway and mountain views.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
The sleeping quarters feature hotel-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions, ample storage and direct patio access. The primary bedroom features a king bed and en suite bathroom with dual vanity, plus direct access to the outdoor patio. The second bedroom features a queen bed and access to the main hall bathroom and access to another patio seating area.

THE LOCATION
Desert Song at the Monterey Country Club is the perfect home base for those who want to experience all the Coachella Valley has to offer. Just outside the gates of your Country Club, you'll find grocery stores, casual restaurants, shops and every other convenience imaginable. You’ll be walking distance to the The McCallum Theater live performance venue and The College of the Desert’s Street Fair, which is open every weekend. Just a little more than a mile away is Palm Desert’s El Paseo, (the Rodeo Drive of the Coachella Valley), where you'll find world-class restaurants, shopping and art galleries. Monterey Country Club, is a short 15-20 minute drive to Downtown Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, long recognized as the Playground of Presidents. You are just minutes from a half-dozen of the world's most famous Golf Courses as well as movie theaters, museums, live performance venues and casinos. The Polo Grounds (site of the Coachella and Stage Coach Festivals) and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden (where the BNP Paribas Open is held) are nearby.

The property was great. Nice setting on the golf course. The mowers started at 6am which was that nice. We were there for a pickleball nationals and tried playing at the country club. Excellent experience from check-in, comfort, location and check out. Great accommodations, beautiful views from the patio where we would spend most evenings. Neighbour was very friendly and all others in the neighborhood were nice. The owners even dropped by to make sure all was okay. 2 bikes were available to ride around the complex and swimming pool was a stones throw away. We shared the house with another couple and everyone agreed it was a fabulous place. All in all a great experience.

This was a great home for our desert getaway. The house has everything you need, the hosts even provided coffee and basic kitchen ingredients. The local gift cards were also a very nice touch. The only improvement we would recommend is that the patio furniture cushions are well worn and stained. Otherwise, everything else was great!

It was VERY well-appointed and had a “gift” for us waiting! So thoughtful! It is located very close to a great little pool that we were able to have all to ourselves most days. The grounds are beautiful! The country club staff was all very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a break. One note: there are some pretty strict nighttime noise rules, so don’t stay here if you plan to be loud and party late into the night. ?

The home is warm and inviting, located close to a great pool with a view of the course, and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the Desert Song! We also appreciated the helpful property management company. They were very communicative and easy to reach for questions.

My wife and I could not say enough about our stay. The view of the mountains was fantastic. We ate our breakfast on the terrace every morning, and watched the sunset each night. The unit was beautiful. It was beautifully furnished with nice artwork. Everything looked new and clean. It was also fully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. In the garage, they had bikes, tennis rackets, tennis balls, pickle ball rackets, etc. Everything is very organized. All the light switches had labels. There were manuals on how to use the unit and the club. The unit also had a number of books about the history of Palm Springs and the valley. We had a marvelous time. We highly recommend you stay in the unit.

Lovely Getaway

This is a lovely, peaceful spot in Monterey Country Club. Condo is clean, comfortable, well stocked, and decor and furniture is current and updated. The patio has ample shade, overlooks golf course and has a beautiful mountain few. We spent a lot of time outside there just reading and enjoying the scenery. Pool and jacuzzi is a minute away. Not crowded because there are many pools in the club. We aren't golfers, but watched golfers enjoying themselves throughout the day. Seems like a great course. Took long walks along the expansive grounds and enjoyed the beautiful dessert flowers and foliage on the well kept grounds. Lots of beautiful birds too. People who live here are very friendly and polite. Feels like a small town. Also very quiet. A great respite from LA!

Overall Comment Wow! We have stayed in numerous rentals and this tops them all. Everything you could possibly want is stocked in the kitchen. The decor of the luxurious 2 bedroom unit is exquisite. We golfed twice, played bocci and pickle ball. What a blast!
