Palm Springs Vacation Rental Industry Newsletter - October Update

The City of Palm Springs recently reported a 22% year-over-year drop in Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) revenue for September 2024, suggesting lower overall tourism and occupancy rates in the area.

 

However, in October 2024, the Palm Springs vacation rental market saw an upward trend compared to October 2023, with both occupancy rates and average daily rates on the rise.

 

Even with the obstacles, ACME performed exceptionally well against the competition:

  • 12.2% higher ADR
  • 47.1% higher occupancy
  • 65.6% higher RevPAR
