Diners will love this family-owned business featuring Shabu Shabu, a Japanese dish that literary translates to Swish Swish. It’s served with a pot of dashi broth, thinly sliced raw beef, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, udon noodles, rice, and two different dipping sauces—ponzu and sesame. Customers cook the beef and other ingredients in the broth with a swishing motion and then dip it into their favorite sauce. You can also choose from a long list of Japanese tapas, soups, salads, and pastas. And there's an extensive Sake Bar. A great option for Acme's Rancho Mirage renters, but worth a trip for those staying in Palm Springs or Palm Desert as well.
