Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

We know it’s tempting to just lounge around the pool at your Acme vacation rental home, but if you do just one activity in the Palm Springs area, we suggest a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world’s largest rotating tramcar. Enjoy breathtaking views on the 2.5-mile ride to the wilderness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park (elevation 8,516 feet). Once you arrive, options for hiking, guided nature walks, and even snowshoeing abound along with restaurants, observation decks, and a natural history museum and documentary theater.  Close to Acme House Company vacation rentals in Palm Springs, and well worth the drive from vacation homes in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta and Cathedral City, the Tramway is a favorite thing to do in Palm Springs!
