The owners have updated this midcentury ranch home - respecting the 1964 architecture while modernizing it for the way we live today. Remodeled kitchen and baths, hi speed internet access, 3 flat screen televisions, efficient climate control system, drought conscious landscape that is lush at the same time. The private pool yard has been reimagined with some really great resort-style amenities. If you’ve enjoyed staying at Modern Ranch Heaven before - you’re really going to love it now!

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
As gorgeous as the interior spaces of this home are - it is the outdoor spaces that are the crowning glory. Modern Ranch Heaven is like your own private mini resort where the mountain views are simply stunning, the landscape is thick and lush, and the entire property has been space planned so you can spend most of your time outdoors. The entire back yard has been walled and landscaped for complete privacy. At the center of the yard is the pool and spa surrounded by chaise lounges, a daybed, the covered dining pavilion and the fire pit chat area. There is a plumbed gas barbecue - so you never have to worry about the tank going empty. Guests love the outdoor shower and the just added bocce ball court is so much fun. Modern Ranch Heaven really captures that Palm Springs vibe.

** The pool will be heated to 83 degrees upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
There is a simple understated mid mod elegance about this home that creates a very relaxed, comfortable, easy living vibe. The open layout is perfect for spending time with your entire group. The well-stocked kitchen is light and bright - featuring stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops and plenty of cabinet space. Through out the house there are lots of large windows and sliders that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living in true Palm Springs-style.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Both of the bedrooms offer King-sized beds with hospitality-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions and ample storage. One bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and direct pool access while the other has easy access to the hall bath. Both bathrooms have been updated.

THE LOCATION
Tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Movie Colony East neighborhood, this property is just one block from Ruth Hardy Park, and less than a mile from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive. You’ll be close to the Palm Springs Uptown Design District with its fine dining restaurants, sidewalk cafes, specialty boutiques, art galleries and midcentury modern furniture showrooms. The casino, convention center and night spots like Tropicale and the Copa are just a short stroll away. Neighborhood conveniences like grocery stores, sandwich shops, burger joints and other casual eateries are all very close by.

100% Refund for Cancellations within 48 Hours of Making Booking.
30 days or more prior to the Arrival date, ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
Greater than 48 hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.
7 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned.

We (2 couples) stayed at "Modern Ranch Heaven" for 4 nights. The residence is charming, comfortable, nicely furnished in keeping with its mid-century style, and immaculately clean. The outdoor space is rather spectacular in a comfortable and relaxing way. The information provided by Acme before and during our stay was thorough and very helpful. In addition, although there were no problems at all with the house, we did call Acme twice with questions. Acme was immediately responsive and helpful. As noted above, the house was immaculate; and that motivated us to make sure that we left it completely clean and clear.

The house was absolutely wonderful! Great decor, comfortable and well-stocked, as well as a beautiful outdoor space. The pool and spa were great, and the bocce ball court was a really nice extra. Super close to downtown, which was a real plus. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Acme's customer service staff was exemplary. We will definitely use Acme for our future Palm Spring stays :)

We enjoyed our time at this property and felt the management company was great. Our only complaint with the house is that the beds were EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable. They definitely need a soft topper. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked and lots of pool towels. The backyard is a dream and the location can't be beat.

Wonderful Airbnb very close to the heart of Palm Springs. The pool/spa area outside are fantastic and we found ourselves wanting to stay and relax in the gorgeous yard. The home itself is in great condition and decorated to fit the mid century Palm Springs mod aesthetic you’re looking for when visiting the area. Acme was super helpful and responsive during our stay and quickly solved the few requests that we had. Would love to stay with Acme again the next time we visit due to their fantastic customer service alone. The only thing I would mention for future guests is that the beds both have very firm mattresses, so if that is not what someone’s ideal sleeping situation is, they should be aware of that. But when we reached out to Acme about it, they quickly sent along a mattress pad to help us sleep better the rest of our stay, and it did help a bit compared to when we arrived.

Great desert home

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a little hiccup at the very beginning. We stepped out to our car to do some grocery shopping without our phones which contained the door code. After a bit of panic we went to Ralph’s market. They were very friendly and helped us find Acme‘s phone number. We called and connected immediately to somebody who could give us the codes to get in to our rental.After that it was smooth sailing and we enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner. A safety bathmat in the tub would have been great to prevent any slipping. Otherwise everything was nice, especially the backyard. We will return next year.

This is a nice little mid century house with a nice large modern kitchen. It’s super close to Ruth Hardy park for some tennis or pickleball and a few minutes more to the uptown design district. But we spent most of our time in the amazing backyard - spa, pool (always warm and lovely for a quick dip), fire pit, hammock, grill and even a bocce court! We had a couple minor issues during our stay and Acme was super responsive - they were dealt with very quickly. I’d highly recommend this place and Acme for your PS stay.

This home away from home was amazing! I slept better on this bed than I did at home! I found the kitchen well stocked/ I actually ordered for my own kitchen a few of the gadgets that were very helpful. And can we just take a minute to admire the outdoor space!!!! The pool was the perfect temperature. We enjoyed floating the afternoons away. It was too hot for the fire pit but we loved grilling our own meals and enjoying the outdoor dining space. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Overall Comment Modern Ranch Heaven was truly that...heaven. The two bedroom house was perfectly appointed for our four-night stay. I have nothing but great things to say about his property, the property management and the most relaxing time in beautiful PS! Everting about the rental was accurate by its description, it was so very clean and during this scary time with the pandemic, this was really important to us. The kitchen where we did all our own cooking for the entire 3 weeks had ever we wanted/needed. The home with indoor outdoor feel made our stay feel like our own island. The bocce court was a blast and enjoying relaxing days by the pool and palm trees could not have been more relaxing. The property management company was outstanding, even dropped off some extra paper towels our last week. Thanks, we hope to be back. Last thing - perfect neighborhood with Ruth Hardy park our go to walking area.

I spent a month at Modern Ranch Heaven recently. The house was very comfortable and the pool and yard amazing. The nice, open kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The neighborhood was great for walking - Ruth Hardy Park is just a couple of blocks away and you are close to great restaurants. I only did take out because of COVID but it was a nice change from home to have such great food nearby. The management company was unbelievable - they are incredibly helpful and responsive. The mattresses are firm, which at first I didn’t think I would like, but I ended up being very comfortable sleeping. I would stay again!

Overall Comment Just came back from a great stay at Modern Ranch Heaven for Modernernism Preview Weekend. The house was perfect - clean, kitchen well-equipped, beds comfortable, cute furnishings. But the backyard is what makes this house really exceptional. For a smaller house, the pool, spa, and lounge area was exceptional. The pool was always at just the right temperature, and we could control the spa temp and jets to heat it up quickly whenever we wanted to use it (multiple times in a three night stay). We had fun playing bocce, and even had smores for an early decadent breakfast when our jet-lag kept us from using the firepit at night!

Overall Comment Clean, exactly what was expected. The provided flashlight did not work and the very sheer drapes in the two bedrooms did not block light (this was a problem). Loved the pool and jacuzzi area and the location..a quiet neighborhood. A couple side tables outside would be helpful and some facial tissues would have been nice. As usual Acme staff were excellent; questions and one small maintenance issue were handled easily and quickly. We look forward to our third Acme rental in January and we're looking for dates for one of your homes in April.

Overall Comment Just finished a terrific stay at an Acme House property in Palm Springs. This was the 4th time renting a place in Palm Springs through Acme. Their properties have all been very nice, well maintained and if you need something or help they are right there to take care of it. We even had a support tech come to the house within 10 minutes of call for support to help with a TV setup issue. Their communications via email and text are detailed and frequent and provide all the information you need for the planning and during your stay. Will always rent through Acme when staying the Palm Springs area.

The house was exactly as pictured and had everything that we needed and most of what we wanted. Honestly, the best thing about our stay was the professionalism of Acme. Shortly after our arrival, our concierge came by to give us a tour of the home and explain how everything worked. We found this very helpful. I also liked the open living concept. We travel quite a bit and fall into a nice rhythm rather quickly and this place met our needs very well. I liked the simplicity of the dishes and how drawers were laid out etc. I didn't do much cooking (breakfasts and easy lunches like sandwiches mostly) but the kitchen was well stocked. Although I was dealing with a 'company' - my interactions with Ken were very warm and professional and allowed for me to feel confident throughout the transaction. I would say there is a level of sophistication with renting from this company. The essentials for living were provided while making sure that nothing was so precious that you felt nervous to use it. We will come back to Palm Springs and will be looking at this place again!

I loved my 2 months at Modern Ranch Heaven in Palm Springs. The yard is lovely and well maintained. The house is simple in design and furnishings but has everything needed for an enjoyable and restful vacation. Acme was very helpful and attended to the minor problems I encountered with the house very quickly.One recommendation would be to update the renters information manual.The neighborhood is quiet and within easy walking distance to Ruth Hardy Park. For the more energetic,it is a good walk to downtown. The single improvement I would recommend is making the garage usable, it would be nice to be able to park a vehicle inside. I have no problem recommending this property.

Overall Comment We had a very good vacation! The house was in a great location and close to downtown. It was easy to get to the major roads and close to airport and several golf courses. The beds were comfortable and well stocked. Unfortunately the weather was colder than usual and it would have been nice to heat the pool and hot tub at the same time. Overall Comment We stayed at this property for a week with my 2 year old son and it was absolutely outstanding! I can't wait to return! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool and spa was clean and very well maintained. The yard is perfect for relaxing (the hammock was a huge selling point for us!) or for active play with a toddler. We could easily walk to the shops, restaurants, and night market yet the road the house is on is very quiet. There is also a great park a block away with a fun play park for kids! Overall Comment We stayed at the house on Marshall. Fred and I enjoyed the house and liked the location. Everything was clean. We only had one problem. The house was in escrow when we got there Being home owners we understood that the new buyer wanted to see the house. The new buyer was gracious when he arrived, asking if he could buy us dinner, for any inconvenience. We would not want that. What I could not understand is that the agent said they had been trying to call me. We were in the market, when I got the call that the buyer wanted to see the house. When I got home from vacation there were 3 messages on my home phone (of course I was not there). After several calls, I guess someone figured out they were not going to reach me, and Harrison called on my cell. We were caught by surprise. Other than that, everything went well. Clearly miscommunication. Thank you!

Overall Comment From the booking process to the arrival, we were stoked. Upon arriving-it was better than the pics show, and the amount of space that we had to just sit back and relax was more than expected. We spent late evenings out swimming and found the neighborhood to be quiet and peacful. Overall Comment Overall we really did enjoy this house. Although the inside could use some finishing details, the house was clean & well-stocked. Cable tv was not easy to use & although it states walking distance to downtown, this is not really accurate. We loved the two master bedrooms & two washrooms which were well mainted. The backyard is what we enjoyed the most - the pool was lovely & the hot tub at night was wonderful to have. No noise from neighbours besides the odd barking dog but overall very quiet & relaxing.
